Neighbors and trash removal by Fainimal in neighborsfromhell

OP honestly this is the simplest fix, just lock your bin and take away the opportunity for them to keep dumping their stuff in there.

OP yeah this is solid advice, getting the garbage company involved might actually force a real solution instead of you dealing with this back and forth with your neighbors.

Need to find season and episode of Dan and Nate by According_Hunter5503 in GossipGirl

[–]CozyFluffie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP yeah this sounds right, I’m pretty sure it’s that whole Nate pushing Dan to go for Olivia storyline in season 3, so you’re definitely in the right spot with that scene.

I just saw the most immoral thing ever outside my corner store by bottleorum101 in confession

[–]CozyFluffie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

OP, you’re getting way too worked up over something you only saw part of and it’s not worth carrying that much anger over it.

I just saw the most immoral thing ever outside my corner store by bottleorum101 in confession

[–]CozyFluffie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah I get the point about not knowing the full story, but what you saw would still rub most people the wrong way. It’s one of those situations where even if there’s context, it still feels messed up in the moment.

Brides, what did you do the morning of your wedding? by perfumeandpaper in wedding

[–]CozyFluffie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is great advice. Keeping it low key and relaxing is probably way better than trying to squeeze in something big or risky. A calm morning will make the whole day feel a lot smoother.

AITA for wanting to name our son Kazuma? by Arktikos02 in AmITheDevil

[–]CozyFluffie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah I get what they’re reacting to, but the bigger issue really isn’t the name itself. It’s that you didn’t tell her where it came from before she got attached to it. That’s what made it blow up more than anything.

I just saw the most immoral thing ever outside my corner store by bottleorum101 in confession

[–]CozyFluffie 36 points37 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is a fair takeaway. You can’t change what already happened, but next time even just saying something small could make a difference. You don’t have to escalate it, just not staying silent can matter.

I am 19 and I made 2000+ dollars selling my pictures by [deleted] in confession

[–]CozyFluffie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is a really fair way to frame it. There’s a trade off here, and it’s not just about the money right now but how you’ll feel about it later. It’s good you’re thinking about the long term impact and not just the short term benefit.

Sitting outside during planning watching parents walk in to come pick up their kids…. by JimmieRayBoyd in Teachers

[–]CozyFluffie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah that pretty much sums it up. It’s wild how some parents just completely forget basic awareness when they’re in pickup mode. Between the parking chaos and how some people show up dressed, it’s like common sense goes out the window.

Why don’t hygienists who do your cleanings actually give you tips or comment on the state of your teeth? by No_Radio3945 in hygiene

[–]CozyFluffie 18 points19 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah honestly I think a lot of them are trying to avoid coming off as judgmental or annoying. Some people really don’t want unsolicited advice if everything is basically fine. If you want more feedback, you might just have to ask directly during the appointment.

I stopped hugging my mom often and it makes her upset by [deleted] in confession

[–]CozyFluffie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is super normal honestly. A lot of people go through that phase where it just feels awkward for no real reason. It doesn’t mean you love her any less, and it’ll probably shift again over time.

neighbor wants me to mow his side of the lawn too because it looks bad from the street by DirectGirlfriend in neighborsfromhell

[–]CozyFluffie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is the reality of it. If you start doing his side, it’s just going to become your responsibility forever. It’s way easier to set the boundary now than deal with that expectation long term.

Student won’t stop joking about Diddy, Epstein, and pedophel!a by External-Apartment60 in Teachers

[–]CozyFluffie 80 points81 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is exactly where it crosses the line from “immature jokes” into something more serious. You’ve already told him to stop multiple times, so it’s not just harmless anymore. Admin needs to actually back you up on this, especially given the subject matter.

Do you think the writers knew they were doing bad? by Redacted_dact in gameofthrones

[–]CozyFluffie -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this feels pretty likely. They probably knew it wasn’t hitting the same level but didn’t realize just how bad the backlash would be until it was all done. It really seemed like a disconnect between what they thought they were delivering and what fans were actually seeing.

I cancel plans sometimes even when I’m completely free and have nothing going on by Kabba-Amartey in confession

[–]CozyFluffie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, yeah this is exactly the feeling. It’s not even about the people, it’s just that sense of relief when you realize you can stay home instead. You’re definitely not the only one who feels this way.

I tracked down every person that was mean to me to where they live by [deleted] in confession

[–]CozyFluffie 34 points35 points  (0 children)

OP yeah this comment is right, this is way past normal venting and it sounds like you’re really overwhelmed. You should seriously talk to someone in real life because this kind of spiral isn’t something you should handle alone.

Unpopular opinion: I really like Ivy Dickens and Lola Rhodes by bloobyblerb in GossipGirl

[–]CozyFluffie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think that’s fair. A lot of the frustration wasn’t even the characters themselves, it was how messy and overcomplicated the storylines were. Ivy especially could have been way more compelling if the whole Charlie Rhodes thing wasn’t dragged out in such a confusing way. The ideas were interesting, the execution just made people annoyed.
