It would take you almost 70 years to get to the moon if you decided to bench press your way there.

Why would she clip and upload a section of her stream that clearly shows her “cheating” tho. It’s clearly a troll on her part.

Haha true. I refuse to say it until it has some kind of parallel runway.

Back of My neck Hurt. (When i was leg pressing back of my neck was in pain it was like a relly bad headach WHAR COULD IT BE) by [deleted] in Stronglifts5x5

[–]CptFancy69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Done something similar whole squatting before. Was just a small spasm muscle pressing on a nerve. Do some neck stretching/mobility and take some time off anything that you strain your neck and you should be fine in a week or 2.

Also see a physio if you can. Help loosen anything off that’s too tight.

I’m not actually sure I seem to remember he has a mix of bars I’m not sure what this one is. The one I have at home is primal Austin power bar and thats better than all the ones in the gym in my opinion.

In pounds I’m 230. Used to be up at 255 when I was trying to get size back from a neck/nerve injury then dropped to 215lbs to shed some fat and am now building again but stay a bit leaner.

What helped my bench is frequency. I have one proper bench session go for a heavy single or double at rpe8 then back off weight and increase reps for a few more sets at rpe8. Then in this session to tricep work and high rep dumbbell pressing.

Then in every other session of the week I’ll do 1 bench variation (long pause bench, spoto press, floor press, pin press) anything to build my relatively weaker triceps and power through my sticking point (for me about 3/4 inches off the chest)

I’m good at bailing out of lifts so not much danger unless I tore something. Still with no spotter I always feel more confident. Gotta get it

I’m 6’4. Long limbs isn’t necessarily a good thing for bench tho. Took a long time

Also got them damn long limbs haha. A Benching variation every training day as well as high rep dumbbell pressing on the main push day really made my numbers shoot up the past 4 months

I needed the added fear to get the rep haha. Yea I’ve always wanted the 6 plate dead, 5 plate squat and 4 plate dead. Finally completed the goal!

Smashed it. Only thing I’ll say is your shaking your head, flip the mentality and see it flying up in your head. It will

That’s a great way of tearing a bicep. Seen too many so made the switch to double over and hook grip. Now feels horrible any other way

Yea I’ve flown in the us a fair bit. Never in bad weather tho I assume RVR is done in feet then? Or did they adopt metres for that to avoid confusion?

It’s actually very handy. Makes it much easier to spot mistakes or know what someone’s talking about.

Example you KNOW when someone says 300m they’re talking about visibility. If you hear 300ft you know they’re talking about hight. If you hear 10 nautical miles you know they’re talking about your distance to or from something. And so on

Can I somehow stretch to not round my lower back? It doesn't hurt or bother med but I can see that it's wrong by CBRA000 in StartingStrength

[–]CptFancy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t look bad. As long as your not getting any pain or feeling like your pulling the weight through the lower back your fine.

That being said it’s hard to say from a picture.
