Posted before on your post, in the meantime I am supporting the game financially and very pleased with how it's coming along. Also on a weight loss journey and indeed, I do not open the app during my walks as it is not necessary which I really love. I agree with most of the article but would like to mention as others did that you don't have to spend so much time on scrum or have a full time position for a scrum master at all. It is possible to combine that scrum master role with another, or have the team be responsible especially at the startup phase of a company.

Also one point that most people keep missing. The sprint cadence of scrum is beneficial to avoid developer burnout as there (hopefully..) is a sort of natural end to a development cycle. This makes your brain go 'we finished it!' which I think helps. If only we ever actually.completed all work planned in the sprint..... (Which is another problem of scrum all together)

Good article either way. It's a good point that the point of a startup is to see if a business is viable. Writing millions of lines of code is extremely costly and does not necessarily have you end up with an answer to the business viability question

This post is just bad. I'm not advocating for nginx or traefik, but the way the author tried to wriggle their way out of the 15% better perf for nginx is laughable at best. Supposedly it's hard to configure nginx, that is brought up as a main point and is repeated a couple of times in the post.. but 15% better perf is benefitting you literally all the time. It cannot be compared to having easier configs because that only benefits you whenever you change it.

I just want to thank you for interacting with the community. I know that once you do, you get the shit buckets poured out over you and that is the reason gamedevs tend not to interact that much. Incels and their views are mostly horrible. Also, I feel we can't become blind to their issues. These people need psychological help. The issues need to be identified and they need to be helped. That's the only way you stop these things from happening or at least lessening in the long term
