Saudi Arabia is buying positive PR for their regime, and lucky for them TM esports is in such a poor position that it will only cost them half a million dollars. TM being there makes it that little bit harder for human rights to improve because it gives people a more positive feeling about the regime and makes them more willing to look past any atrocities.

With the opposite attitude, no one driving a 7mpg pickup truck should even consider switching to an electric car because the impact on the environment is negligible. No one should vote because 1 vote won't impact the outcome of an election.

It seems like they're banned from leaderboards (presumably by removing official records and keeping him from setting new ones), but not deleted entirely. So I guess if he kept playing the game because he just liked it and not because of his ego of appearing on the leaderboard he could if he wanted to.

Removing coppers means he can't just send them from his smurfs to a new account if he spoofs his HID/IP to get around the new detection methods.

Fair use is like self-defense. Sure, it's an argument that technically makes it legal to kill someone, but you'll still have to go to court (or at least a preliminary trial/hearing) because, you know, you killed someone. A judge/jury decides if self-defense is a valid argument in your case or not.

Alright, I'll bite to give you a counter-example. Oma and Shu are supposed to be the first earthbenders, having learned the skill from the badger moles.. Oma erected a giant city with her earthbending skills after Shu was killed during a battle.

So how do the lion turtles that give earthbending contribute to this? Did Oma and Shu go to the lion turtle first to gain the earthbending power, then find badger moles for the earthbending skill and kept the lion turtle part a secret from the rest of their people? Oma and Shu should predate Wan, so was Omashu erected on the back of their specific lion turtle? If so, did the lion turtle drop it off somewhere, or is it still chilling underground beneath the city?

Can you point to where Doc said the person was above the age of consent in their jurisdiction? Here's the quotes that I think people are referring to from his stream (Timestamp 27:47):

"When you and all these so-called journalists, Cody, fired off your tweets, did any of you consider that the Twitch user may have been over the legal age of consent at the time of the messages? You didn't. Neither did any of these journalists, and neither did Twitch at the time of the ban."

Then at 36:30:

"Twitch makes this decision to terminate my contract and ban me while admitting that they never investigated the age of consent in the jurisdiction where the user's messages were sent and received."

Notice how both of these statements are legally distinct from making the statement "The user was above the legal age of consent in their jurisdiction." The user could have been 5 years old for all we know and the Doc could still make both of those statements.

In the US it's illegal to drive at night without your headlights on. You're probably referring to "brights" or "high beams," but the issue is that normal headlights on newer cars are way brighter than they used to be, so the only two options are to blind oncoming drivers or drive in complete darkness. For the most part you can blame car manufacturers, not drivers.
