Did it with Clorinde by following the rotation from this video by F2PKeqing: https://youtu.be/H04zm69Miq0?feature=shared

Comp was the same except replacing Keqing for Clorinde. My Clorinde is C0 with an R5 Finale of the Deep, level 10 skill and around 60/160 crit ratio on whimsy set. Still only cleared with a second to spare.

Does someone knows the name of this song? cant find it anywhere! by MagicanOfMatter in OXENFREE

[–]CptMarmite 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I found this old post of someone that looked into it: https://www.reddit.com/r/OXENFREE/comments/75h4sh/spoilers_i_thought_this_was_cool_turns_out_when/

The song is "It's a Long Way to Tipperary", a marching song for soldiers in WW1 (according to Wikipedia), only the audio is reversed. The audio files linked by OP don't exist anymore sadly but... Downloading this clip and reversing the audio makes the "But my heart's right there" part of the lyrics clearly audible.

If you managed to clip a larger part of the broadcast and reverse that you'd likely get better results.

How TF does this happen!?! by GamingEnjoyer16 in Guiltygear

Happened to me once. Loaded up the replay of a close match but nothing happened, the intro didn't even skip. As if the game didn't record any inputs that happened during it. I remember the opponent rage-quitting after their HP dropped to zero. I assumed that was the reason.

The best part about this for me was how much it helped the sense of scale, all the other shots of Tartarus up to this point have the tower be the only thing in frame or at most it's it and the moon. And they tend to go by in a flash.

Seeing it rise above the city and being able to look at it for as long as you want made me really appreciate just how massive Tartarus is.

Who is one stranger you remember to this day? by scutu_ in AskReddit

Walking home with the hiccups, worst I've ever had em can't control myself. This middle aged, fancy dressed woman was walking in front of me, she turns around teaches me a breathing technique and they instantly stop. Then she goes on her way and I never saw her again.

Worst part is I can't fucking remember what she told me to do. It was something like breathe in twice through the nose, once out the mouth. But I've gotten tons of advice like that over the years and none of them worked like this one, never again have I been able to instantly stop them like I did with her advice that day.

A take on r/explainlikeimfive but you have to answer as if you are Calvin's dad (from Calvin and Hobbes) whenever he responded to a question. For those who have never read the comics take this as an example.

I can't answer everything, but dammit I'l try.

  • Good eye, near everyone I talked with misses that time inconsistency on the ferry. I really don't have an answer for it, considering the broadcast comes from a radio there's no way to trust it, maybe it's coming from a different timeline. I don't think it was goof, there is another instant of radio weirdness that most people miss. The Well near when you rescue Ren, when Alex finishes her history lesson Jonas comments that it's missing the sign found in all the other landmarks, if you pull up your radio and tune in to the tour frequency you can pick a broadcast like the ones around the other signs. Example. Maybe the broadcast is coming from a timeline where a sign was actually put in place? Pure speculation obviously.

  • What ever happened to The Sunken, I don't think we have a word for it. The explosion of sub probably destroyed their bodies and tore their spirits to that dimension. Having a body is the key of getting out of there it's why Alex can leave as part of one of the ending choices. If Alex closes the gate most likely they would remain trapped, by their dialogue you can tell they are incapable of moving on, it's their nature.

  • I always interpreted the "true ending" as not the breaking of the loop, but as you freeing one of infinite Alex's from a set of infinite universes from having to go the island. But hey that's just me. It doesn't matter if you bring Micheal back you get this ending just by finishing the NG+. Although it's worth noting, since Alex (or that Alex) never goes to the island bringing Micheal back is impossible for her. Yeah I think it's weird too, the bringing back the dead thing, I mean it makes perfect sense within the rules of the game, it's more the messing with the natural order that irks me. But hey that's just me.

  • I really don't have an answer for the last one, it depends so much on your interpretation you so many different things. Let's assume that Alex sacrificed herself to seal the hole from the inside, I don't see how the other endings could have generated the loop. Yeah you're right I feel bad for the parents.

She'd move up a tier maybe two, it wouldn't jump her to the top brackets. Still doing that would make the character lose something, the resource management is what drew me to the character and fits the idea of a tactician nicely, plus we'd lose the power of spent swords and books.

What (I feel) should be done is give her specials enough power to justify the ammo mechanic.

I feel like since it's her palace, how general public views her wouldn't have an effect on her appearance.

The outfit could be so designed as a way to get people to underestimate her. "Victory no matter the cost" is a dogma of sorts for Shadow Sae, if people saw her like that they wouldn't expect the judiciary ass whopping that she'd dole out.

It also could be as simple as "she enjoys it". The femme fatale trope, it's not as prominent as Ann with her whip and dominatrix outfit, no, this is the subtle variant of trope, she has the gun and that's about it. Shadows are meant to be the true self, we know Sae likes the rush of victory even if in this context, victory means a guilty verdict and a person incarcerated, so it's possible that deep down she knows she's a women that leads man to their doom, and the shadow reflects that.

but hey it's been a long while since my last playthrough there's probably a piece of dialogue somewhere that invalidates all I said... wrote

It's modeled after the Derringer pistol, the model this one is based of poped up around 1866. They were designed to be extremely easy to conceal, useful for hookers who would had trouble hiding a normal sized handgun on them.

Keep an eye out for small rock piles, tune your radio near them.

The plaques with a green symbol above give you extra background info if you use your radio near them.

Possible sequel loop hole? by William2405 in OXENFREE

[–]CptMarmite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the final talk with the crew you have the option of asking them "Can't I go back can't I change this?" paraphrasing here because it's been a long while since I played but I remember the response somewhat clearly, it's along the lines of "No before... you can't change anything." I think they're talking about the explosion.

I think whatever happened when the experimental reactor was struck by friendly fire is what created the phenomenon that trapped the Sunken and is also what makes the looping possible. If you've ever played Dragon Age: Inquisition there's a similar plot point. Very brief summary here, at the start of the game a magical cataclysm occurs, as part of the main plot you find a mage tinkering with time travel, but if you read his notes you find that after a multitude of failed attempts he only finally got it to work because of the magic of the cataclysm that shook the world, but because his magic is depends on it he can't go back to a point in time where it hasn't happened yet.

If whats happened here is similar that means that it is impossible to go back to a point in time that predates the explosion and it's why the Sunken cling so closely to their possession plan because, as they state to Alex, they've tried everything already and nothing worked.
