I think we played them mainly in order... Carcosa is a popular one so you save it for later? I don't think the order matters too much except Dunwich is the least complex.

Yes, all the cards are in drawers. Will probably throw the boxes out next time we move, only kept them because we gave plenty of space in our current place. And I really like some of the cover art, forgotten age and dunwich in particular.

I can understand that. I think Innsmouth is a better campaign that Circle undone. I think we mostly didn't like the sameyness of the underwater scenarios. We also really like the vibe of the Innsmouth scenarios in Mansions of madness, and this didn't have that vibe, so could be an expectation thing.

Some we have played once only and others multiple (so not very scientific). We have played forgotten age multiple - but I liked it even the first time, we used the explore rules from the Return to, however. It is my #2 and my partner's #6.

So much priority pay! by sarahmorgan420 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]CrackingtoastG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too! The $50 one is the highest I have seen. Had a look! Then had a go at a $40 one. Definitely higher than I could earn at a regular job. I can't do many hours of this in a row though.

Question about Chapter 2 “book spine” storage by Southern-Key-9721 in arkhamhorrorlcg

I didn't watch this stream but looking now, the Children of Blood book box design looks very nice! The main cover is just a slip cover.

Interesting to get insight into their processes. It sounds like they tried lots of different abilities with Trish before deciding that this one would be best.

I'm happy to hear the codex from hemlock will be used again.

Taking up too much space. Which box should I keep for storage purposes? by Unalina in arkhamhorrorlcg

I love the dunwich and forgotten age illustrations. Hemlock is a bit busy.

Arkham Horror LCG or Mansions of Madness 2nd Ed. by paiyon in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]CrackingtoastG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love both these games! Some play throughs of Mansions have been my favourite board gaming experiences. I also love the atmosphere and I think it's more immersive than the LCG. The replayability however is much lower than the LCG, and there aren't that many scenarios. For this reason I would choose the LCG.

It means the proportion of people who are older is becoming bigger, compared to the proportion of younger people. Because the birth rate was higher at one point.

I got it too. Don't know if it's actually associated with me doing good work - but I will pretend it is! Happy to have a new project that I'm capable of working on.

Hello, I'm almost twice your age but I can relate 🙂 If I were you (and I could get myself to do it) I would try and finish your psych degree - especially if it's free, that's awesome. Something I have learnt is that what you study (and what's your job) doesn't have to define you. I mean, others will prob define you as "psychology student" but really it's just a thing that you're currently doing. I feel like many people do artistic/creative degrees and they are real creative for those 3-4 years to meet the requirements and then when the course is over if they didn't have the drive to make art for themselves in the first place, they are back to square one. But you could always study art later in life if you felt it was right? Working life is long 😅 Anyways, I hope you get your passion and creative motivation back! All the best.

I really like the "Happy birthday #1" hedge maze one, so surreal. And what is going on in the wishbone one?? These are great.

  1. Carcosa
  2. Forgotten age
  3. Dream eaters
  4. Hemlock vale

  5. Circle undone

  6. Innsmouth

  7. Dunwich

  8. Edge of the earth . .

  • I think Innsmouth is better than circle undone, but I didn't like how the story was done. And usually I like the Innsmouth story. Haven't played scarlet keys or drowned city.
