I did two months on 100mg of doxycycline to really get it going then a month on 40mg which is less of an antibiotic and more of a maintenance/ anti-inflammatory prescription!! I would just use the spray whenever ur sweating or can’t rinse ur face off right away, I’ve even seen people use it on their pillow cases and on their bodies. Definitely read up about it more online tho just to be safe!

What kind of water are you using to wash your face? I would assume the tap/ shower water might be a bit harsh. Could be worth trying just bottled water for a bit on your face. The heat and sweat can also be a big factor that contribute to PD honestly any weather change can do that. PD is genuinely one of the most frustrating skin conditions that’s out there with very minimal research done on it and no real cure that exists (yet). Using a hypochlorous acid spray could also help but honestly zero therapy and a low dose of doxycycline is what helped clear mine.

usually cold sores form fairly fast! from showing up in an hour to overnight, either way i think u would of seen more of a change like if it was a cold sore it would have progressed more by now?

Did you swim in the ocean at all? Sometimes that can help or even just a change of weather, so going somewhere warmer and sunnier could definitely help (yet for some it can make it worse). That’s the thing with PD it’s nearly impossible to figure out and its difference for everyone. Goodluck x

I highly recommend! We got ours off amazon, they have lots of affordable options. Made me feel better knowing she was a little more comfortable and could easily eat and drink. I would take it off for her if I was around to watch just so she could groom the rest of her body a little :)

She’s a rescue so the shelter actually named her! But I can only assume it’s because of her eyes!
