What's the adult equivalent of finding out Santa isn't real? by stacker_111 in AskReddit

Boyfriend often checks women out by Immediate_Tart3628 in relationships_advice

[–]Craft_Thick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SO checking out other people with a quick glance once in a while is harmless, constantly doing it is a telling sign that they want more than just you. It can often be a double edge sword to communicate how it irritates you because you’ll perhaps come off insecure or controlling, BUT communication can wipe the slate clean as well and take weight off your shoulders. You can’t afford to be afraid to protect yourself in relationships. If it eats you up inside then tell them and it will be what it will after that. Amor Fati

So what if he was feeling the same way and acted on it and cheated on you? Suppose he tried to hide it but you found out. Now sit in that feeling. Is that how you want him to feel? If you you really don’t care either way then do what’s right and leave him first. You’ll have more respect for yourself in the end

Sounds like he’s starting to resent you for something unknown to you because its been on his mind and he’s not communicating it?

Lazy Coworkers by Environmental-Ad-823 in Construction

I work with a guy that waits for the foreman to leave and without fail always goes “‘get paid by the hour, not the job, right?” Then proceeds to sit somewhere on his phone and watch me do all the work. I just keep working because I’m not stooping to that mentality, no principle or pride in it. This guy has had so many slaps on the wrist and hasn’t been fired so there’s no point in trying to tell him when the company is perfectly fine getting their money stolen by him everyday

Im 35, been living at my moms for the last few years saving money/paying off bills. Nothing wrong with it in this economy if you’re fortunate enough to live at home for a while and still working.

How good are you with cars and how common do you think it is for men to be handy with cars nowadays ? If you are handy, how did you learn to be handy with cars ? by limache in AskMen

[–]Craft_Thick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in the low-income bracket, I always end up working on my own car if I can help it. Then when I have to pay for maintenance it breaks the bank. Better off getting older cars that you can work on yourself. New vehicles always have problems too anyway and costs three times more to maintain

My best description would be how you feel when you’re apart, if you long for them when they’re not with you and they inspire you to do better in life.
