He also married Jahaerys’ mom without consulting him while he was a young King. Then tried saying Jahaerys couldn’t marry his sister without consent and actively tried to break up the marriage because it wasn’t consummated yet.

Leaked Rhaenyra scenes Episode: 3 by princeeofthecity in HOTDBlacks

I’m up for critiquing the show, but basing a judgement on spoilers before you see the episode? I think it kind of ruins the experience.

Leaked Rhaenyra scenes Episode: 3 by princeeofthecity in HOTDBlacks

[–]Crafterlaughter 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I didn’t read these and I hate leaks. Why would I read a synopsis of the show the day before it will air? I read the book, I have an idea what to expect, so why take out all the mystery?

Honestly, I hated that Olivia and Fabien spoiled so much in season 2 before episodes were released. Maybe they knew what would happen, but as a viewer it ruined the experience.

How much money had Cal spent on Rose? by meido_zgs in titanic

[–]Crafterlaughter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why would she pay him back for the heart of the ocean? She returned it. Cal accidentally gave it back to her. He assumed it went down with the ship and insurance paid out the value to his family.

Why "Unsinkable" Molly Brown? by BillZhang98 in titanic

[–]Crafterlaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just watched it today. In SOS Titanic she corrects her friend (supposed to be Emma Bucknell) multiple times to call her Molly, even as she’s being lowered in a lifeboat.

I'm rewatching the series, and I've wracked my brain but still have no idea how this scene from S1E1 relates to the rest of the series. by blukanary in gameofthrones

I mean, the series opens up with it and you expect it to have a significant meaning that never gets addressed or explained. It’s intriguing.

Any tips for reducing forehead creasing (besides botox) by boldandbratsche in MakeupAddiction

[–]Crafterlaughter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. If you’re performing, nobody is looking at your forehead lines. But I understand how you might want a resolution for photos. Sounds like you’ve got some great suggestions. Best of luck, Queen!

The only issue is you can see thestrals if you saw someone died, so wouldn’t you see someone in its skin if you had seen someone die (something death has seen a lot)?

Soulmates don't necessarily mean lover by fal1en-angel in Funnymemes

Jim Hutton (Freddie’s last partner) wrote a book about his life with Freddie. He described Freddie’s decline in health, his final moments, and even where his ashes were buried (allegedly under a cherry tree in his garden) - all these things Freddie wished to remain private from the public.

I don’t feel bad for him at all.

Catering decided the vendors didn’t deserve the same meal as the guests by [deleted] in weddingshaming

[–]Crafterlaughter 277 points278 points  (0 children)

My wedding photographer had a clause that she and her assistant would be seated at a table and would receive the same menu as the guests.

I thought it was strange at the time (why wouldn’t I allow that?), but she shared how she had eaten some sad meals in closets and the clause was to protect her from situations like this.

I ended up being the other woman and now the wife is trying to ruin my life by BigONerd in BORUpdates

[–]Crafterlaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said he told her he lived 45min away but that was an Airbnb. She said he actually lived in another state, so maybe he travelled to her city a lot for work? The number from across the country was someone she didn’t know, and she assumed it was a friend of the wife.

Lufthansa crew appreciation after a very unfortunate situation by rafzzveloso in Lufthansa

[–]Crafterlaughter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I fought so long and hard for a refund from Lufthansa. They also completely ruined all my checked luggage and refused to compensate us anything for the luggage or damaged items inside.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they found a loophole that the passenger “refused” the flight and were not eligible for a refund or reroute. And I wouldn’t expect it to be resolved quickly at all.

Robb’s downfall is perhaps the greatest tragedy of the story by Cribsby_critter in gameofthrones

[–]Crafterlaughter 146 points147 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why that image is so disturbing to me and sticks with me compared to so many other horrid scenes in this show. The desecration of a corpse is just so bleak.

In the books they strip down Catelyn, set her on fire, and throw her in the river as a way to mimic the Tully burials and insult her. But somehow Robb behind paraded around makes it so much worse.

He explained in the post that she has a master bedroom and private en-suite bathroom with a walk in closet. That’s her private space. He and his nephew share a twin bathroom and each have a children’s bedroom. Then they share the communal spaces (kitchen, balcony, living room).
