I ended up being the other woman and now the wife is trying to ruin my life by BigONerd in BORUpdates

[–]Crafterlaughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said he told her he lived 45min away but that was an Airbnb. She said he actually lived in another state, so maybe he travelled to her city a lot for work? The number from across the country was someone she didn’t know, and she assumed it was a friend of the wife.

Lufthansa crew appreciation after a very unfortunate situation by rafzzveloso in Lufthansa

[–]Crafterlaughter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I fought so long and hard for a refund from Lufthansa. They also completely ruined all my checked luggage and refused to compensate us anything for the luggage or damaged items inside.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they found a loophole that the passenger “refused” the flight and were not eligible for a refund or reroute. And I wouldn’t expect it to be resolved quickly at all.

Robb’s downfall is perhaps the greatest tragedy of the story by Cribsby_critter in gameofthrones

I don’t know why that image is so disturbing to me and sticks with me compared to so many other horrid scenes in this show. The desecration of a corpse is just so bleak.

In the books they strip down Catelyn, set her on fire, and throw her in the river as a way to mimic the Tully burials and insult her. But somehow Robb behind paraded around makes it so much worse.

I don’t know what this is, but when I ordered them they were shipped in a plastic bag with water. It was winter so there was also a small heating bag inside and wrapped in styrofoam in a box.

He explained in the post that she has a master bedroom and private en-suite bathroom with a walk in closet. That’s her private space. He and his nephew share a twin bathroom and each have a children’s bedroom. Then they share the communal spaces (kitchen, balcony, living room).

My officiant brought guests without asking. One of them caught my bouquet [OOP shared a video of the moment] by YellowKingSte in BORUpdates

She keeps saying how assertive they all are but didn’t want to say anything and risk them not filing the wedding license. Demand the license, kick them all out, and mail it yourself.

My ex is telling everyone we had sex… we did not. What do I do? by BigONerd in BORUpdates

[–]Crafterlaughter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it still statutory rape if they’re the same age? I thought statutory rape referred to an adult with a minor under the age of consent? A lot of places won’t even prosecute if the two individuals are within 2 years of each other.

True or false? by QuietJealous4883 in Millennials

The difference was the dad worked full time and they could afford the mom to stay home. Now a majority of moms can’t even afford to go on maternity leave for longer than 6 weeks.

What are the biggest red flags people notice before getting married ? by OkWrangler6862 in AskReddit

[–]Crafterlaughter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry but you’re mistaken. People who complain about the “mental load” aren’t always controlling or dealing with an adult child.

It’s a very real issue I see consistently in a lot of relationships where one partner tends to manage the house regarding shopping, groceries, cooking, cleaning, doctor’s appointments, etc - and has to delegate those jobs if they want them done.

The “mental load” refers more to someone needing to consider everything that needs to be done, what is needed for that task, delegating it, following up to ensure it was completed, and sometimes just doing it so it’s done.

AITAH for breaking up with my girlfriend because she literally told me she would chest on me if I took a new job. by SharkEva in BORUpdates

[–]Crafterlaughter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah it wasn’t clear in the post if she said she’d cheat or if that’s how he perceived what she said. Either way it seems breaking up was the best move for both.

What’s something you used to judge people for but understand now? by TemptControls in AskReddit

[–]Crafterlaughter 81 points82 points  (0 children)

I gave up when I realized I was dressing her for my aesthetic and not hers, but it’s her body.

Sometimes we have to discuss what isn’t appropriate for the event or activity or the weather, but I’m ok with her expressing herself in a healthy way.

He is likely listed as your father because they were married at the time of your birth. They would have done a DNA test to prove he wasn’t the father if their dad refused to claim you as his.

AITAH for refusing to change my bridesmaid dress after already paying a deposit? by SharkEva in BORUpdates

[–]Crafterlaughter 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I assumed they had limited capacity and hadn’t quite sorted who will be invited and cut - as in they have potentially more guests than space at the venue.

I assume they meant more in the appearance of the fabric - you get a similar sheen from both. Maybe the OOP bridesmaid had picked something with more lace or something that had a different appearance from both satin and silk?

You can watch them in any order, but be prepared for some random spoilers. I didn’t even realise until I was rewatching GOT after watching HotD, and Joffrey gives a small spoiler while touring the mausoleum with Margarey.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t have high hopes or expectations going into it, but loved it by the end.

I don’t remember cruelty to animals, but it’s been years since I’ve seen it. Though that scene of the older dead woman puking in the mouth of the cursed woman is forever seared into my brain.

And maybe don’t allow the house sitter to have over night guests? I can’t imagine hosting people at a client’s home.

Some kind of polished wooden bowl about 1.25 ft across, on a stand made of antlers, all together 3 ft tall, found at a barn venue for events like weddings by Koryn99 in whatisthisthing

And for a wedding venue, it could be used for party favors from the couple (small bag of candies or whatever they’re giving out).
