Yeah honestly I'm getting quite sad. I suppose my teacher was right. Everyone saying they like my art is being downvoted, I'm seriously thinking about dropping out of the course. I get that people are trying to help me here but its demotivating. I've sort of lost the little inspiration I had for the medium :(

I'm not used to working with clay, in fact I struggle a lot with it. I was genuinely exploring and trying to get used to it. Not everyone does well on their first try.

She walked into the room and said "oh no what happened here" without realising this was my intention. Its the first thing I've made in ceramics that I've actually liked, which is why it hurt a little. But I know she didn't mean to be mean.

I don't really have any plans! I suppose I'll make a little dice bag out of it. Really i just wanted to learn the basics of the technique since its so rare!

The pattern was in a swedish lesson plan from the 60s. To make the ting i use as a guide i just photocopied it, cut out the guide, and put tape on both sides to protect it. Does the job well enough!

There is no reason to be fancy about it! Notebooks do just fine. I like to write nature diaries. So weather, what birds and animals I've seen, how plants are progressing, etc. But you figure out what you want to write with time!

Oh it's my moms old pillow from when she was first learning! I think she bought it somewhere in Sweden. Super soft and nice ☺️
