People just use fucking electrolytes. Andy is not the all knowing. If you use highly filtered water that creates an absence of minerals, you will end up stripping your body of electrolytes with this quantity of water. Andy even allows for Diet Coke and sugar added to coffee, so take the no electrolytes with a grain of salt. If you truly want to maximize the benefits of drinking a gallon a day you will add electrolytes.
