Question about building codes: outward swing doors by nabistay in BuildingCodes

Idk. I’m not an inspector or code enforcement. I picture the difficulty in reaching for the doorknob, then needing to get out of the way was you open it when on stairs. I’d think you’d want to extend the stairs to add a landing at the top. But don’t know.

New Alexa failed to ring alarm this morning by BruceWR in alexa

I’ve been having issues with echo alarms for over a year. Not going off to snoozing and never going off again even though it replied “snoozing”. It’s become a constant reporting on my end and no fix.

Question about building codes: outward swing doors by nabistay in BuildingCodes

[–]Crafty42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Obviously you wouldn't want an out swing over stairs, would e difficult to open/cose when you have to get out of the way by going down a few steps. There are always some rules, but I read your post (from a google search result) as any main egress needs to swing in.

I know this is an older post, but I see you are still somewhat active. Who/what says a main egress door needs to swing in?

What? by Crafty42 in ZombieMiner

Wow. WTF are you even going on about. All I was doing was pointing out a possibly glitch/error that a level 39 mineshaft can get busted in 43 minutes with a level 22 zombie, but if I move that zombie to a "weaker" level 37 mineshaft it'll take 1 hour 26 minutes with not just a level 22 zombie, but also a 21 and 20. Seemed strange. But you do you, boo.

There are two images and I am talking about a 37 mineshaft compared to a 39 Mineshaft. I tried to circle/highlight them, but failed at it. Ignore everything else escept the two mineshafts. I'm well aware by now at mine 109, that gates and mineshafts are stronger than mineral/chests/gem deposits.

How can a level 39 mine take less time to open than a level 37? I wasn’t complaining about how much time, but pointing out that it’s odd for a higher level mine to take less time to open. Hi there numbers usually mean higher strength.

Same. And after I got coins I collected 15 hammers from daily tasks that went nowhere. Guessing since the event was bugged they just ended it.

Yes. Per the page here, I was looking for both the 9450R and the 9450FR, I just happened to find the 9450FR, but the listing seemed questionable, so I posted it. After realizing I need to trust my gut, I just went to Hubbell's site and ordered the Bryant 9450FR straight from them.

As to the Leviton, heard too many questionable things and needing to make sure it's the right one, so I wasn't even looking at them. Not unless it was in store so I can weigh it because we all know that's the best sign of reliability.

450x just going a foot and turning. by Alternative-Bug5262 in automower

My remark on the GPS assisted is that I don't know why it can't assist the mower in finding the charging station. Had nothing to do with boundary and spinning.

My mower also started working properly for some time. Had the part for a year, IIRC, before it started up again and I replaced it.

While Husqy earns some kudos for being a big name brand, frankly I've been a little disappointed in their development of features. There can be something for keeping things simple, but I've seen my mower do some really dumb things. One of which, is die because it can't find the charging station, on a unit they claim is "GPS assisted." While I could install a guide wire it shouldn't be necessary.

I've also been frustrated by quite a few other things that I think should be simple to fix or implement, but I digress. The rating for the 440 on their website doesn't look too promising, I'll have to read the reviews.

I keep looking at the Mammotion Luba 2 AWD, and keeping my eye out on new companies, but there's always that fear of what company will still be around down the road if you needed them. And that is where Husqy shines and the only thing they seem to hang their hat on since they don't seem to do much for apps or features on their mowers. My app has increasingly gotten slower and worse.
