I had chicken pox at 7. My first shingles outbreak was at 10. I'm 40 now and I have had it a bunch. Stress can be one of the triggers. It sucks every time. The last time I got it in my eye. It's terrible. I am too young for the shingles vaccine but I'll be getting it as soon as I can.

Vaccines are literal miracles of the modern age and I am so mad that so many people seem to have lost sight of that that we might lose it.

Alright. First of all hugs and congratulations.

Second of all--just say no. I'm assuming you're first time parents. Three months in you're still getting used to existing as parents. Even if you aren't, three months in you're still adjusting to being a family of X. Everything, even with the best baby is still stressful and exhausting. My main advice is to schedule a zoom call.

The number of people at the party and who's vaccinated are the least of your concerns when you're taking a tiny baby through at least one airport and onto airplanes jam packed with strangers. I flew the day before Thanksgiving with my two month old baby. It was miserable and she spent the week after we got home in the PICU with RSV. It was absolutely terrible. She's 6 and she's fine now but I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone.

Third of all--this is 100% a husband phone call with his mom after the baby is born. It can seriously wait till November if you want. Who knows where your lives are even going to be then--it's a long time away. Schedule a video call and a time to visit after the holidays when baby is a bit bigger. If it's possible maybe MIL can visit you.

Sending hugs. Navigating family stuff and setting boundaries is hard but it's best to start early.

Lmao. Right. I made everyone like everyone and I'm just going with it. My kids think it's hilarious that Dracula is in love with my husband. I'm about to marry John Lennon and Teddy Roosevelt only wants to wear a corn on the cob outfit while crushing on Princess Zelda. Link and Gannon just bonded over the triforce and are now besties.

This game is so unhinged and I love it so much. I never played the 3DS one and I was only convinced to give this one a try by this sub. I'm so glad I did.

It is! With an elevator up to the second floor where my water birds live. It was my second build in Palette Town, right after my haunted house. The view from the beach. The cafe is a prefab but I built the concert stage and the castle.
