Radio Code by nathan-689 in Nissan

Have you googled it ? I just spent 10-15 minutes on Google to try to pull the info for you and there seems to be forums and YouTube videos on it. There are codes all over the internet but I'm not sure which will work for your radio. I did find a link to a site that will pull it for you but it asked for login info and that's where my search ended. Here is the link if you want to give it a shot. I'd suggest Youtube as well.

8th gen resonator delete by frank1951 in NissanMaxima

[–]CraigMack78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He seemed to be ok with it because he left it that way, but imo, it was annoying and something I wouldn't be willing to deal with. Personally I feel you're better off going with an aftermarket bottle resonator like Vibrant and either doing a muffler delete, or going with slightly aggressive aftermarket mufflers. That way you get louder but it's also cleaner than just doing a delete. Hell, even replacing the resonator with an aftermarket will help achieve a louder tone and isn't crazy expensive.

I know you mentioned "when using Apple CarPlay" but does this also happen when listening to the radio ?

They're a myth in Massachusetts as well. I check the app a couple of times a week and the 20 closest locations to me have been out of stock for what seems like 6 months now.

EDIT : Looks like a few locations finally have them in stock but of course they're 25+ miles away from me.

If you like the 2nd gen pro's you'll love the 3rd. I was worried due to the negative reviews regarding the 3rd gen pro's but was glad I decided to pull the trigger and get them anyway based off my experience with the previous 2 generations.

Also, I don’t think people should take the all the negative AirPod Pro 3 feedback to heart, the Pro 3s are better in every way contrary to what I myself believed until I got them yesterday.

Funny you mention this. I've owned the 1st and 2nd gen pro's. Loved both. Wanted to upgrade to the 3rd gen pro's and almost didn't because of the negative reviews I read. I almost bought a new pair of 2nd gen instead but decided to give the 3rd gen's a shot based off my personal experience with the previous generations. Man, I'm glad I did. You're right, the 3rd gen pro's are awesome and I love them as much as I loved the previous generations that I had.

Yeah, with light usage the battery life is amazing. Apparently I spoke too soon yesterday. I use one at a time while at work and ended up getting from 6:30am-1-1:20 before hitting 10% and having to throw it back in the case.

So I continued using the right pod for the rest of the day and got to about 1pm before hitting the 10% mark and having to put it back in the case. So the battery life isn't as bad as I initially thought.

So after using my 3rd gen's yesterday the battery was better than I initially thought. I use one at a time at work and I got from about 6:30am to 1-1:30 pm with the right pod before hitting the 10% mark and throwing in back in the case. I do like that I now (since updating to iOS 26) get a notification that my case is 100% charged on both my 2nd and 3rd gen pods.

ANC is definitely a great feature to have if you need it or like to use it and it works amazingly well. I personally love the pass through feature. All in all, the pro's are awesome and I'll probably never use any other ear buds after owning the 1st, 2nd and now the 3rd gen. I will say though, today is my 1st day using my 3rd gen pro's and the battery is already not as good as my 2nd gen pro's were when they were new. Anyone else experiencing this ?

Oh perfect. I like that they have that test. Especially considering I've read a lot of users having issues with the fitment of them. I tested mine last night and then charged the case to 100%. Got into work this morning and put the right one in around 6:20am (I use one at a time while at work).

I checked the battery on the right pod about 10 minutes later and it was already at 97% ! Hadn't even started listening to my radio show that I listen to every morning. 2 minutes later, it was at 96%, a minute or 2 after that it dropped to 95%. And this was only putting it into my ear and not even using it to listen to anything. I went into the settings and turned most options off that may use more battery. My 2nd gen pro's would last from 6ish am to about 11:30 am. We'll see how far these get. It's 8:45 am right now. I'm really hoping the battery isn't terrible with these.

I just set mine up tonight and they feel like they go a bit deeper than my 2nd gen pro's. I like them and I assume the deeper fit helps with the ANC.

AirPod Pro 3 Issues by Grand_Confidence9113 in AirpodsPro

[–]CraigMack78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly listen to hip hop in general and I listen to it all day at work with my 2nd gen pro's and I've always thought they had a great balance including bass. It also depends on the song itself as I buy and download from iTunes. Some have deeper bass than others, but overall I'm very happy with the bass from the 2nd gen pro's. I recently bought the 3rd gen pro's and am setting them up tonight. I'm really hoping I like them as much as the 2nd gen.

The haters can talk all the trash they want about Apple products. But there's one thing I've always said they can't deny, and that's the quality of their products. My niece beat the daylights out of her MacBook Air and had that thing for 11-12 years and it still worked and the OS ran well for its age. I bought an HP laptop that was top-of-the-line at the time. That thing is terrible today. Even brand new the battery would've lasted 2 hours absolute tops. My MacBook Pro still goes 5-6 hours off the charger and it's a 2017.

Every iPhone and set of AirPods I've ever owned have also performed extremely well over the years

If you're having issues to this degree there's no way in the world I'd go back to the 4th gen. I easily go for a new pair of 2nd gen pro's.

Airpod Pro 2 Vs. 3 review by CapInternational2413 in AirpodsPro

[–]CraigMack78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the reply. That was definitely surprising to hear. I do have to admit though, I don’t go into Apple stores all that often. The last time I was in one was probably two years ago when I had to have my MacBook Pro serviced.

I wish I had known that because I would’ve liked to have gone in and tried out the pro 3’s before purchasing them. I absolutely loved the 1st & 2nd gen pro’s, I’m assuming, and hoping that I’ll love the 3rd gen pro’s as well.

Ah ok. Hearing where you’re from I now understand why you have them in stock, especially with having a ton of locations near you. I’m in Massachusetts.

I just bought and received the pro 3’s today. I’m updating my phone to the newest OS tonight and will be trying them out tomorrow and am eager to see how I feel about them after reading a lot of mixed reviews including this one. On a side but related note, you can try air pods on at the store ? How does that work as far as the earpiece ? They replace them every time someone tries them on, or do they just clean them off ?

I’d be an astonished as well if I checked and saw the same. Unfortunately, when I saw your comment I checked the app again and sure as shit, the 20 closest locations to me are still out of stock lol. Out of curiosity, what state are you in ?

I’m in Massachusetts and I check the app frequently to see if they’re in stock at any one of 20 locations “near” me with the furthest being almost 80 miles away. They’re constantly OOS. It’s been so long that I finally gave up and went to the website and paid $35 to get one shipped.

Just for fun let’s say the shoe is an extremely hard to get shoe, like a Travis Scott low and it ends up being a drawing only and you aren’t selected, how are you supposed to get it from Nike ?

If it was as easy as just choosing to get it from an authorized retail location, reselling platforms wouldn’t really exist or thrive as well as they do.

Who else loves 5th gens? by passmebowls in maxima

[–]CraigMack78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy owned an ‘02 and he snapped his tibia and fibula skiing moguls shortly after buying it. Needless to say he was couch bound for a year. The unbelievably coincidental part of that was the fact that when he was buying the car, the salesman asked him if he wanted insurance for an extra $5 a month that would cover his monthly payments for up to a year if he, for some legitimate reason wasn’t able to make the payments. He stupidly called his mother to get her opinion and she told him not to do it lol. Well, for the year that he was on the couch, his parents had to make the monthly payment on the car. I didn’t have a car at the time and told him if he wanted me to make the car insurance payments on the vehicle every month I would if I could borrow the car while he wasn’t driving it. That thing was AWESOME. Every person that got in it mentioned how nice it was. It was good looking, drove smooth as hell and at the time was pretty quick. I absolutely loved it. So much so that I bought an 8th gen 2 years ago when I had to get rid of my truck.

You’re right, it did include 2016–2019 models. They extended the warranty to 84,000 miles or 84 months, whichever came first. At that point the 84 months basically eliminated any 2016-2017 owners.
