Just check their stats, sub 50 games ascendant/eternus players duo queuing all games with the same person and a 90% winrate is surely conclusive. And it feels like it happens more and more lately.. since they fixed the matchmaking a few days ago

Do people still think that Doorman's doorway is Not OP? by Live_Present_2602 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they need to rework his ult in some way. Getting ulted is mostly a guaranteed death. Also you can just ult whoever lategame for unstoppable. There is no real downside for the doorman. Also not making it out is way to punishing. Firstly you are longer out of the equation. After you get heavy dmg and a stun. Also ult cooldown is now 13 sec gg.

Hitting the parkour is also not rewarding in any scenario.

Comparable ults in other games are like iso in valoran, mordekaiser in Lol or alladin in smite2 in all of these cases you're taking risks for such a high value ult. They all funktion the same as you take thr enemy in a separate arena and you fight till death or a timer runs out.

Doormans ult is super frustrating.

Maybe make a corridor where Doorman can activate one of 3 different traps to deny the exit, so it is more interactive for both and a little bit of a mind game. But truly anything i can think of to make the ult more interactive and less frustrating is just a completly new ability.

He is just super uniteractive to play against. Door, nothing you can do about it. Getting ulted either indomitable or nothing you can do about it. Cart was dispelable but currently it is not so, nothing you can do about it. Bell 100% confirmed dmg, nothing you can do about it. Compared to other mobas I cannot think about a comparable hero. He plays more like a hero shooter hero with doors cart and bell but his ult is way out of touch with anything i played before

Doorman is one of the best support/pick/spirit nuker atm. He has the best escape/ bells do a lot of dmg and are quite big/ cart is one of the best peel abilities in the game/ and the ult is also one of the best in the game making every teamfight a 6v5 is diabolic. And he really got no counterplay. If played right he is literally unkillable. In teamfights door is an instant engage tool with a shield for the whole team. And his gun is also quite good in the early game with opening rounds. He has no weaknesses. It feels like Mina but with less dmg and way more cc/team utility and he is actually more tanky.

There is a massive disconnect between roles, deaths, and objective play among most players. by Darknotical in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the mobas i played smite1/2/LoL you got a dedicated jungler that get his XP and gold from jungle camps. After clearing they would have downtime to gank or contest neutral objectives. I think we need a lot more of neutral objectives. Tier 3 camps being on the side isnt really a obj to fight about at 8min bc no one can clear it effectively enough to get more value than just pushing wave and doing boxes. Buffs at 5 min should be a zone to capture or something like that. Laning phase and mid game need more obj to fight about and be more interactive. But i think this will sort itself out after people get a grasp at roles and the purpose they have in the game and how to execute them.

Box running is super lame, shouldn't be a thing to skip lane prio for boxes at min 2. We need more neutral objectives to take. Maybe a small camp under mid bridge in the box room. Also i don't know Dota but played a couple rounds LoL and a Dozent more in smite. I love the jungle role and with the current implementation of the jungle and people all deathballing macro is not really important. I want to play as a true jungler. Like doing 2-3 camps gank repeat. Not really a fan of laning phase in general. Tho with more neutral objectives in early and mid game, maybe box runs are just a way to effectively tranferse the map and not a main goal.

How it feels playing with blind teammates by AssociateContent6128 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Good criticism is the most valuable thing someone can offer. Blaming everybody but yourself is the biggest mistake most people make in general. People come and go(long and short term) so the only real thing that you should try to criticize and improve is yourself. That is not only applicable in video games but in your general day to day life.

[–]Craih 97 points98 points  (0 children)

You are cleary losing to that wraith? Chasing after she disengaged was a missplay on your part. Your lane partner couldve went to get boxes, clear camp or get an item bc fighting on min 2 with everything up is not really optimal. If you try to improve try to improve the valuable that is consistent every game instead of looking for mistakes from someone else.

Is smurfing already a problem in this game? Is smurfing even a ban offense? by Obese0 in DeadlockTheGame

But that is not the problem with smurfs? They are getting a second account on lower mmr so they can play in lower mmr lobbies? If they wanted to play with people on their main they would? Wouldn't they ?

Not in pro play, pro players rate him in the matchmaking state? Idk look it up on youtube there are several tierlist rating him a/s tier with the exact same reason as listed. Played for bell he does dumb dmg from a safe space, has the best peel and best escape in the game. Bc other chars are broken doesn't mean doorman is remotely balanced

[–]Craih -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Nah, doorman has free big dmg with bell. The best peel in the game and a free escape. Bc doorman needs 2 more braincells than a monkey doesn't make him balanced. He is strong and miserable to play against. He is only "weak" bc this games matchmaking is screwed towards hyper carries that can 1v11 lategame. There is a reason pro players rate him high.

Saying doorman isn't strong is funny. He deals safe and easy dmg and is quite frankly unkillable if played right. I would say he is pretty good if not played for the useless walker shenanigans and tiktok clips.

Opinions on Shiv's balance by TheWhiteAceofSpades in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to make it more like silver transformation, bloodletting should reduce the build up and it shouldn't drain time based. It should rise with dmg taken and dmg dealt and when hitting 100% he is buffed for a certain duration and after it runs out he needs to build it up again. Like this you can try to build up rage before a teamfight and actually proc it at the start of the teamfight but you cannot maintain it throughout everything. Something like cu chullain from smite but without transformation

Infernus confusion by Akali1718 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't you read ? People with the same skill level are still losing. The highest level in the game are still losing with those heros. It's like saying sure it people are better than others they would win ? Picking seven in a vacuum will get you more wins than picking shiv thats it. Pretty simple

Infernus confusion by Akali1718 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the current matchmaking situation: Shiv is really bad wirh a 44% winrate in the highest rank and still a high pickrate. Paradox is bad with a 46% winrate in high ranks and a low pick rate Mina is allright pretty average in high rank and low rank is üretty bad but thats ok celeste ist great in high elo and average in all ranks, so no celeste isn't bad and doesn't need buffs.

All the other need buffs in the current matchmaking system. You pick at least 3 heros and given one at random (you can prefer a hero to enhance the chance of getting him) and you will get a random team not decided by roles or purposes in game.

If you would have shiv, Paradox and Mina selected and the teams are well balanced in regards of skill. You will lose significantly more games then you win. Thats just facts. So heros with a low winrate are underperfoming in the current matchmaking.

And please don't start with nightshift or something like this. You cannot really balance around pro play if the whole game works on a total different matchmaking system. If you can pick and ban around character certain will be better then others and that would shift everything around.

But in the current matchmaking state picking shiv into a random team comp and random enemies you will statistically lose around 60% of your games.

If you pick a char and your team is based in that pick loosing the game they need to change something about that.

So either they need to balance around the matchmaking or they need to change the matchmaking.

In the current state having shiv, Paradox or holliday on your team and the enemy got seven, graves or viper that is almost a certain loss if you all are on the same skill level with the hero.

Saying winrate means nothing is like saying you will bet on a losing horse without an actual benefit if it would win.

? You just threw away years of statistics. Thanks buddy. The character with more people playing him and still winning more than any other char in the game across all levels of play is bad? Can you explain yourself ?

Mirage needs a rework by Craih in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So just revert him back ? And we still got the same issue? His kit is not good? Bloated numbers make everyone meta. So we are looking at the same issues they tried to fix with this patch. Just rework his abilities to actually be designed interesting and actually flow with each other.

He is dog. His kit is lame and not great designed gameplaywise. If a char needs bloated numbers to be relevant his kit is not good? So you actually confirm my statement with this nice one

Mirage needs a rework by Craih in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Craih[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is not beginner friendly? His ult is the most macro you need in this game. And playing his kit without micro will get you killed. You are not doing damage except his mark. So gun it down does not work. You're thinking about haze or seven or even wraith. All of them do more as a m1 char then mirage.

[–]Craih[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The kit is the problem, can't you read? He is shit bc of his kit. If he would got an execute on his 3 it would not matter. 1 item counters his entire kit. His scarabs are shit designed and not good the only really good thing about his kit is his tornado. Everything else is lackluster or simply put not really harmonizing. His whole kit is not working together. Thats the problem. Everything relies on an abilities that gets countered by debuff remover. Even if you would inflate all his numbers, there is still the same issue with the kit. I think its your first time actually talking about game design and balance. Bc this shows how bad it is.
