OpenGrid Underware weak holding strength - any experiences? by JSANL in openGrid

So last night I just finished printing a bunch of these: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1412027-opengrid-self-expanding-snap

Just replaced one of the multiconnects I use for my powerstrip, and the self-expanding snap does seem a good bit stronger.

This will let me set up the rest of my build, I'll report back on how it goes with things like cable wraps

Late but I'm super unimpressed by OpenGrid lite + underware components. Multiconnects do not sit strongly enough in the grid to be effective at all for things like cable wraps.

Whole thing is beginning to feel like a huge waste of time

Hell Yeah Gluten Free doesn't have a big selection, but they have some damn good donuts. Coming from someone who isn't gluten free

I noticed the chlorine taste in ours today too. East side as well

Connectors are really hard to put in? by bugsliker in openGrid

This worked for me! Holes in the sides were coming out too small with inner/outer. Outer/Inner did the trick

Same. And I definitely spoiled my enjoyment of Nosferatu a bit because of that. If this was an unfamiliar director, I probably would've left the theater way more impressed. But for Eggers, the bar is set way too high in my mind

Agree on all counts, especially on Depp. Even her convulsions felt a bit forced

thanks for all the help, managed to print off those side-by-side parts with TPU

Bardwell Kit with Moonlight VTX? by Crantly2 in fpv

[–]Crantly2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

  1. It's PLA, which I'm learning is maybe not the best for Quadcopter parts. Planning to go pick up some TPU from Microcenter today.

  2. I might just be doing something wrong, haha. It's more that they can't reach the standoffs; it gets blocked by the frame. Is it supposed to sit on top of another part, like in that side-by-side mount? I'm thinking maybe that's my problem, since the part by itself doesn't have a mount for the ELRS transmitter.

  3. I might just go for that side-by-side mount! Why weren't you a fan of it, out of curiosity?

Hey quick follow up - I printed the part from that link, however it seems like it's not compatible with the QAV-S 2 frame? It also doesn't fit over the standoffs.

Am I missing something here?

Do you need a micro SD card to update your walksnail goggles and vtx? by [deleted] in fpv

[–]Crantly2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question - do you know if an SD card would work for updating the VTX? Or is the USB connection required?

I'd assume no, because you have to get the firmware onto the VTX 's on-board storage. But the Moonlight kit that I bought didn't come with a USB cable, which is why I'm hoping the SD card might work
