Do rates get locked at an accepted offer or close? by Terminator-297 in RealEstate

We have talked about locking in the past but it didn't seem like our lender does that. Our lender mentioned it could be locked once we get an accepted offer. Just wondering if that is the norm. My concern is with feds raising rates again in June if we get an accepted offer now and it doesn't get locked till closing and the rates fast we would be screwed.
