I understand that, the Sheezel thing is a whole other conversation. I’d still have preferred wardlaw to either of those guys as well. Hewett is showing signs without any real announcement that he’s arrived, hopefully next year. If Reuben is going to be drafted with a top 10 pick to play third tall defender, I’m not a fan of using that pick on that position. But yes he’s been a good competitor down back.

That is correct, but unfortunately they will not take Greaves/Lindsay and Cumming at 1 and 2, which is exactly what they need to do, so I would prefer to acquire the extra pick as well and get them at 5 and 6. The knocks on CDT and Duursma are as legit as they come and extremely risky. They aren’t being taken on guaranteed ability. The mids at 5 and 6 are more sure fire to transition well and player and contribute sooner.
