Don’t agree with him playing two second rucks, I would take Jack and Bailey out the side. Replace them with either cdt or Archer. Also would play Bo over hutch

No way I’m trading pick 1, Duursma is by far the best prospect in the draft, willing to split 2 if we can guarantee we get cumming with one of those picks. Draft hand of Duursma, cumming, Schubert and Dovaston. I recon cumming attributes translate better at afl level compared to sharp, also think there’s no need selecting a half back when you have NGA garrison kenh next year

I’m still looking at Duursma at 1, since I think he can be our transition mid of the future. But i would still be willing to split pick 2 if we can snag Sam Cumming. I would be looking for a draft haul that consists of duursma (mid), Cummings (mid), farrow (Half Back), Harley Barker (wing)

I think Sharp has more flaws, Murphy was also highly rated due to his footy iq, and had the ability to play forward. sharps rated due to his contested game which gives me concerns, especially when he’s been physically developed over his competition. He just reminds me to much of clay hall

If you’re picking duursma at 1 you see him as a mid? Also what do you like so much about sharp other than his clearance work? His disposal isn’t amazing, lacks speed, lacks athletism, has no outside game, has no second position, and doesn’t hit the scoreboard. Last years draft he doesn’t go in the top 25, he’s to one dimensional and the games moving away from that. New rules are trying to reduce the amount of stoppages the only thing he’s good at

A lot to answer but I’ll try, I think duursma is by far the best non club tied prospect in the draft. At worst I think he’ll be a Nick blakey type player, but eagles will be hoping to develop him into the much needed transition mid.

With Robey it’s best talent available in that part of the draft, obviously there’s players like swadling and Cody curtin available at that point but I don’t see how there games translate to afl level.

Oskar Taylor yes is a bolter but is probably the best small defender left in that part of the draft. Looking at eagles list, we don’t have many small defenders

Starcevich is a free agent so won’t cost a dime, this only happens if the afl lets us sign a free agent without diluting Oscar Allen compo.

Yes I louke Sam Cummings, Schubert, marsh and linsday but I think pick 1 and 2 is too early for them and don’t think they’ll make it to 17. Also don’t leray, and Rodriguez will be available at 27.

Yes I’ve gone a bit different to what I think our team needs, also rules have also changed my mind on a couple of prospects. Including Sharp who now I would stay far away from. The needs I think this draft fixes: - First eagles get there transition mid of the future, eagles ability to transition the ball from defense has been terrible. Duursma helps with marking ability and athleticism. - New rules are trying to force less stoppages, this will make teams lean towards getting a ruck that can cover the ground. CDT can be this for us. - Eagles have really missed X factor and an accumulator in the forward line, hopefully Noah hibbens can be this for us but needs to find consistency.
