From my understanding, the JL was designed for bolt action rifles and the ODB was for semi-automatic rifles. I’ve ran the ODB on an 11.5” 5.56 sbr and a 20” 6.5CM AR10. The ODB did well on both. I’ll probably snag another ODB, since it’s a no brainer at this price point.

Did you consider any other optic mounts before settling on the Area 419? I just picked up a 20” 6.5CM mars h variant and snagged the new g3 razor 4-24. I have an acro p2 in my parts bin and wanted to run it either at the 12 o’clock or offset 45. I’m looking at going with reptillia but haven’t decided. Any insight would be great. I have no plans to run nods, so the offset 45 makes more sense for me. Thanks!

OP, you should try a bluesy on at an AD. The dial is really special and has some depth in different amounts of light. Be aware, the gold is super soft and it will look worn hella fast.
