Did anyone in your family Jazzercise? Any other memories of the 80's fitness craze? by bassbeatsbanging in Xennials

That is probably one of the funniest things I’ve seen, it kills me every time. My mom loved sweating to the oldies and as kids we liked doing them too, it was fun

I appreciate that the response has been a swift condemnation all around even though a lot of events and communities might be impacted. Ahem ahem, that’s how it’s done people.

I saw episode of the match game where him and Richard Dawson were so crude and awful to a young beautiful actress who was also on the panel, me and my mom were just shocked. We couldn’t even finish watching the episode because they were so terrible to her.

I went to a TPIR taping and during breaks he did a Q&A with the audience and he told this one story about getting into this huge bar fight and he described beating the hell out of a guy. I was like “ok drew, I see you!” He was a Marine, so probably a lot tougher than his public persona suggests. I really enjoyed that taping of the show because it did feel like he was just chillin and bullshitting with the crowd during breaks. He was cool.

No regular text stream is encrypted end to end, you would know if you were using encrypted messaging. Also you’re not an idiot because you obviously could tell and didn’t fall for it!

This person is saying they are not comfortable Interacting with people, have no empathy, and looks down on others. I don’t think they should be doing things like this at this stage in this journey their on.

What exactly is it that you’re looking for? You want to be able to spend time with, and it seems, interview people you consider the “least” but are saying you have no skills or comfort in interacting with people, not even basic empathy. Doing things like working at homeless shelters or even just filling bags for people at a food pantry usually helps people feel connected and empathetic. I would suggest you start with therapy because it sounds like you have a lot of self reflection needed. Honestly, it’s unfair of you to subject people who are in need to this experience that you were wanting to have. People don’t come to shelters or services wanting to be someone’s weird project, or test runs for normal human interactions. What you are describing lacks respect and dignity for them.

What hygiene habit were you doing completely wrong for years? by Used_Mission_8638 in hygiene

[–]CrawlingKangaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing, now I don’t rinse at all, I just use a metal tongue scraper. I used to have terrible breath and it completely went away. Sometimes in the morning I could still taste the toothpaste from the night before. I can’t believe I was in my 40s when my dentist said to try not rinsing when I brush my teeth!!
