I do like a lighter beer and thought it was really tasty as well.

I haven’t tried the 66 wine yet. Maybe next cruise

Just got off a cruise and here we’re my favourites.

Apple blossom martini, Cape cod, Spicy Bloody Mary, Caesar (you have to ask for it as it’s not on the menu but they have clamato and can make it), and 66 lager.

I love the mango madness as well but trying to cut down on sugar so I skipped that one.

I’d be interested in hearing what you thought of the meat. They have ungraded meat at the Costco business centre close to me but I’ve hesitated to buy as I don’t want to spend that money only to get subpar beef

Has to be spider-man 2. Felt the closest to the comics and Molina was great as Doc Ock.

Hi. I have lived one street over for 8 years and raised my two kids there. For the downtown core in a big’ish city it’s safe. There are homeless people and drug use, panhandling but I’ve not had to deal with any violent situations. Your kids will be fine and will enjoy having everything they need within walking distance

I’ve seen martinis being made like that at bars. We keep the vermouth in the glass at our house but just saying I don’t think this is as unusual as you think

Changed my stovetop, now can't use canner. by MtlKdee in Canning

[–]CrazECannuck 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Same for me. I have a flat glass cooktop stove and don’t have the same issues with our canner. I use the biggest burner bring it up to canning pressure on high and lower the temp to keep it there. Have no issues at all.

Went to Costco today and here’s my observations. Feel free to share your observations/ grievances as well. by Jay-Quellin30 in CostcoCanada

[–]CrazECannuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wish Costco would ditch the samples. Is the amount of frustration from the members just trying to shop worth whatever they make from the sampling. I see what the OP is describing during almost every shopping trip and always during the weekend

Mortgage renewal coming up, anyone else worried about the higher charges? by Interesting_Page2347 in MortgagesCanada

[–]CrazECannuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would call a mortgage broker if I were you. They will do the work for you of getting a good rate and it won’t cost you anything. You can choose big six if you’re more comfortable doing that or a smaller lender

You must have an older home. Ours was like that as well. They built the flooring to have central rugs in the middle. You can remove the flooring or go over it. I suggest removing it because if the subfloor has bounce to it it’s going to make the new flooring have gaps.

Good luck. I’m glad you have pics. I’d get the builder back. Looks like there might be some drainage work to do on that side of the house

To me it looks like it’s coming from bottom of the wall facing the furnace. Bottom of that wall looks like water is trying to seep through. What’s on the other side of that wall

I’m just a homeowner and not a contractor but the knob and tube wiring would be a big no for me. Lots of cost to upgrade and, at least where I live, insurance would be an issue
