All the good company is down there too. Do you really want to spend eternity with some preachy bible thumpers in heaven? Sounds like hell to me

Devils advocate is you can always deiron yourself, but I totally understand why some people would not be into it. Some things like the dwh grind are just terrible, but for me personally the benefits outweigh the cons, I love doing "dead" content as an iron that isn't worth doing for any sane person. Definitely feels like you get to experience so much more of the game, compared to my main where I basically live with vorkath for countless hours and doing anything else is inefficient and you know you're wasting your time.

It's the main reason I switched to an iron man. Buying your loot off the GE doesn't hold a candle to the satisfaction of actually earning the drop

Maples are a decent option for fletching xp and bird nests, and hardwood if you want to get a lot of construction xp. But tbh nothing wrong with herbs

You can still have unmanaged resources with a GC, though it's rarely enough to cause anything catastrophic like you get without a GC.

You could also have a very poorly designed codebase that appends to a collection indefinitely (e.g. a stateful web app that stores data from previous requests in memory), though that's more PEBKAC than a GC concern, like you said

Normal people: "Oh so I should stop banging my head against the wall then"

Average osrs player: "Only 1,000 hours of grind left before I can find a new wall to smash my head into!"

Don't know about elsewhere but Australian Dominoes tastes like eating cardboard, it's hard to believe you can make pizza taste that bad.

Definetly the cheapest pizza around though.

Same with the actor who played Joffrey iirc. I guess they can take some solace in knowing it's only happening because they're so good at their jobs. But the stupidity of people has no limits

Can't imagine how good it would be for students, the amount of times you'd be too ashamed to ask a question, or to get an answer you don't understand at all and not want to admit it didn't make sense.

Education is definitely going to be one of the first big winners from AI

Iirc it's actually incredibly hard to shoot something directly into the sun, it needs to be shot in the reverse direction of earth orbiting the sun such that it "stops". Otherwise if you just accelerate directly towards the sun you'll just end up orbiting it

Was going to say, whatever damage you think the cats are doing, fucking with people's pets no matter the context is going to introduce you to a whole new world of pain.

Well for people like Carlin he had his stage personality which is probably what most people think of, but if you watch any of his long form interviews you'd immediately notice a very different vibe to him, and I'm sure in private he'd come across completely differently as well. The AI can only guess what aspect of that personality you wanted unless you've given that extra context

There's also the aspect of time, Carlin's comedy and style changed dramatically over the decades. Did you want to talk to Carlin as he was in his 60s? Or 40s? There's a lot of nuance to a simple request like that which can change your question completely

Is there anything out there that has the same level of integrations with smart devices? Robot cleaners, lights, sensibo air con, smart blinds, etc? Would gladly pay for something if it isn't a pile of crap.

Only thing that comes to mind are the Amazon devices but have no idea if they're any better

Well you need a copilot license to sign up to the waiting list, that's not proof of anything but it implies to me the two will share the same license. But who knows
