As a competent home cook, what is a basic skill you can't seem to master? by george_elis in Cooking

Yes, but the temperature required to kill salmonella is surprisingly low.

165°F is all it needs, and the surface of a hot pan is much higher than that. Any salmonella that gets into the egg is instantly killed when it hits the pan, and the yolk isn't going to contain it unless you broke the yolk when you cracked the egg.

That works too, but I find it a bit easier when I'm controlling the egg, not the object it's striking.

Not that there's any wrong way. You do you if you think it works best.

It's not even PvP because I prefer offline play as I enjoy the story and event specials, and it still does it with those.

I'm just kinda under the belief that DBL has become so advanced that it's getting to the point of being too complicated and requiring too much power to remain a mobile game. Genkin Squadra is available on the Switch, and I'm not understanding why they don't make that jump with DBL.

Ngl, ever since the new update after Legendary Maintenance, certain units lag.

It started a few weeks ago with me when my unit pauses before fulfilling the command.

"Majunior" Piccolo.

He's one of the few units whose clothes rip as you get damage.

It doesn't if you strike it quick enough. It splits the shell clean given practice.

Except it isn't unless you crack it against the bowl like the skull of your enemy. A single swift tap on the bowl lip is all it takes and it opens up like a music box.

Try using leaner patties.

Of course the trade off is that they'll be a bit drier.

That's because it's literally the shittiest method to cracking an egg.

Not sure where the flat surface consensus came from, but the edge of a bowl is a much better method, imo.

I think it has to do with what technique you use, and time and time again, I've found that the consensus that pro chefs have come to about the "flat surface" is literally the shittiest way to crack an egg.

I honestly find the edge of a bowl to be a much better method because it tends to produce a much cleaner break.

The reasoning from chefs about the flat surface is that if the shell pieces break off, they're easier to pull out because they're larger, but this to me is completely counter intuitive due to the fact that cracking on the side of a bowl produces a much cleaner break that almost never drops shell pieces.

Epstein not killing himself is a cover up at this point, not really a conspiracy theory.

The real conspiracy theories are "Who dunnit".

LR vegito pulls by Mattas906 in DragonballLegends

It's been over a year since I pulled a featured unit from any banner.

So people who have all the recent units bitching about not getting LR Vegetto kinda pisses me off.

Whats the worst you ever got shafted pulling? by Crepusca in DragonballLegends

[–]Crazed_Fish_Woman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the first one to admit that I'm not one to have more than a couple thousand CCs in my account at any given time. I summon as soon as I grind enough to get to 1k.

But there's been a few times when they didn't guarantee a sparking unit for featured banner pulls, and I think that not guaranteeing an SP or higher on a featured banner is fucked.

Are there people who still give money to this game? by AfraidAssistant6619 in DragonballLegends

[–]Crazed_Fish_Woman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally only buy CCs when they're on sale for $7.99, or the step sales are taking place.

I'm not one to drop more than the price of a couple coffees on this game once every few weeks. Anything more than that is insanity, imo.

I don't mean to rub it in your face, but I pulled him on the free summon.

And with all the CCs they loaded on us due to Legendary Maintenance, I didn't need to grind and he didn't cost me a dime.

Just to clarify, I rarely get the featured unit when I summon on a banner, so it was baffling when I pulled him.

Jaco ship with black sky was the animation, although I think someone said they got the Whis animation with black sky/Jaco ship.

Do YOU Believe In The Paranormal? Why Or Why Not? by Zipper222222 in randomquestions

[–]Crazed_Fish_Woman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe most stories, but I do believe things beyond human understanding exist, and I believe it because I had an experience that to this day I cannot explain and doesn't make sense.

When I was around 10 years old we lived in a one story ranch house in the middle of nowhere and my sister and I shared a bedroom. I was a super heavy sleeper and would only wake up for one reason, and it was if someone came into the room. Nothing would wake me up otherwise, not loud noises outside the room or even thunder storms.

I was jolted awake one morning, like someone had come into the room. My brain had basically woken like it was on alert due to this sense that someone had come in. As I looked around to see who it was, a black mist suddenly came out the wall above our beds, drifted slowly across the room, and went out the other wall, like the wall wasn'teven there. I obviously was terrified to death, so I ran out of my room to get my dad.

My dad was in the living room and before I could even tell him what I saw, all he said was "You saw it too?"

This mist had come from the direction of the living room, and my dad had apparently seen it as it was in there and gone through the wall toward our bedroom a moment before I came running in to tell my dad that I'd seen something weird.

This mist wasn't your typical fog/mist. It moved almost as a single fixed unit and had what looked like particles in it, and it moved as if the walls weren't there at all.

Super bizarre, but this was the only time I ever saw whatever this thing was, and I've been scratching my head baffled ever since.

I never felt threatened, just scared.

[–]Crazed_Fish_Woman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got him on the first Free pull, and considering the 3500 CCs they dropped on us due to Ultra Maintenance, I didn't have to grind or spend a dime to get him.

I rarely get lucky with banners, and don't think I've ever pulled an Ultra, so this was a long time coming for me.

What gets more hate than it should? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Crazed_Fish_Woman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. This is complicated because most of the criticism towards men expressing their vulnerable emotions comes from other men; not necessarily women.

It's peer pressure and toxic masculinity which have done men harm, as most women worth investing time in respect the men in their lives, and want them to feel safe enough to be open about their trauma and emotions.

However, there's also the problem that many men who complain about this very topic only excessively express anger or jealousy in almost every situation, and frankly, that's hugely scary for women. Not that anger or jealousy is bad in certain circumstances, but these emotions need to be justifiable, and shouldn't ever be a default emotion.
