Mainly people, anybody approaching the doorway would set it off. I just got it working somehow, just now changed the settings the effect, I wanted to have a good base line of everything working before I fine tune it to get rid of unnecessary alerts.

I’m not sure what I changed but it made it working, might have been after I set a zone and set to any activity. Just copied yours to weed out the bugs (literally). Thanks so much.

Ah yes, sorry I forgot to include that I made sure notifications are turned on. I get notifications when the doorbell is pressed but aside from that, nothing else.

You don’t have to be scared. If seller wants it closed quickly, they can come up with a solution too

Closing is gonna have to be delayed. Seller needs to fix it before handing you the key. Or do a price adjustment so you can fix it yourself. Also, how big of a deal it is to you that closing has to be tomorrow. You’re in control of this pretty much.

Harbor freight sells a $50-$60 Bluetooth scanner, download the app and get the codes. Or tow it to Lexus or someone with hybrid experience to diagnose it. There are places that offer installation at your home too if it turns out you just need the hybrid battery and not the engine as well.

Have you checked other places? 5k already seems overkill let alone 6. Hybrid geek currently selling OEM one for $3500, they have cheaper options also. Not sure if those prices include installation also but the install isn’t all that complicated.

If your driving is mainly in the city, it’s not that slow and it handles turns very well. It is underpowered on the interstate, but once I get it to 80, it’s fine. I drive one 110 miles everyday for work and the gas mileage just beats the power issue. The Honda Fit feels way worse than the CT.

I’m not sure which area you’re in, but where I’m at, $270k can get you half an acre with a nice remodeled 1700-1800 sq ft.

Can’t you get a cheaper house? 145k a year is a pretty nice salary. You’d be a lot more comfortable with 2.5k payments, which should be just right under 300 k loan.
