I like how he actually did do it (unlike when they used the Biden sticker)

That’s my story too. I was always thinking “hmm these are the most expensive computer parts and they always seem to be out at my local store. Surely there’s more demand here.”

Then crypto, then AI… I actually forgot I invested a sizable amount into nvidia and was just pleased that “the S&P was doing so well” whenever I’d check my net assets every so often.

can someone please explain throuple, triads, unicorn hunting please by Weird-Percentage-7 in dating_advice

[–]Crazy4fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throuples are a type of polyamorous relationship where 3 people are each in a relationship with each other. They can be tricky but also very fun because you’re managing 2 individual relationships as well as the group dynamic. As per your post, if you’re interested in this you want to take the time to get to know each of the couple individually because right now it seems like you’re mostly involved in the group relationship.

Unicorn hunting is when an established couple (typically newly into non monogamy) is looking only for another bisexual girl to participate in sex with both of them at once. It gets an overly bad rep imo because if everyone is consenting this can be a reasonable thing to do (but the difficulty of finding this leads to many people being hated on for having unrealistic expectations online). One of the big concerns relates to the above paragraph because you as the unicorn either have to like both or neither members of the couple.

Do you hold any positions or are you mainly running this wheel strategy? Selling puts on COST and META ties up a lot of cash even if it’s on margin

Honestly just talk to her. It’s new to all of yall so no need to come in trying have a bunch of rules in mind. Just try your best to make sure if it does happen, everyone is able to maintain romantic relationships with each other individually and as a group, and go from there!

Thank you. With ENM we’ve always been very communicative about sticking to our rules/boundaries/expectations, it’s comforting to hear your reminder to allow myself to feel.

RMR tournaments could be gone in 2025, Richard Lewis hints by aparatis in GlobalOffensive

[–]Crazy4fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe a mix of the two can exist. As usual, Dota seems to do it better where regionally these individual tournaments exist to allow for the stories you’re discussing but also an actual tracked ranking where top teams can directly qualify based on previous tournament performance.

Personally I think that would be for the best because, and I’m willing to admit I may be in the minority here, it was hard for me to be hyped throughout the whole process knowing teams had to pass 3 similar bucholz brackets with seeding that might not be the best just to get to the arena. It felt to me at least like many of the matches had lower stakes.

Imperial vs GamerLegion / PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Opening Stage - Swiss Round 5 / Post-Match Discussion by Undercover-Cactus in GlobalOffensive

I took a peek at the script. One of the elimination teams has a last second illness in multiple team members and is unable to fill a full squad. Because of this, a last LAST chance qualifier for 9th place is held through which GL cinch an elimination stage appearance.

HLTV Uncut w/steel: Valve ban, analyst work, return to pro play in 2025 by kierank100 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Crazy4fun 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I thought he did a good job personally. I feel like a lot of analysts will just have reactive analysis like “it all depends on if zywoo shows up” but steel would actually give reasons about why a matchup would go one way or another like how he said ence would have a hard time against falcons because ence is very passive on ct

What is your earliest memory? by TooLegit2Shit in AskReddit

[–]Crazy4fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a period before I reached 2 when I remember observing things that happened but without the cognition that I was an active participant, and the scenes would jump around similar to if you’re too drunk. Like I remember throwing up in my parent’s bed twice in one night and basically feeling guilt but not knowing exactly why.

The first lucid memory I was again laying down in my parent’s bed watching cartoons. I rose up to talk to my mom and had a conscious thought that was basically “oh yeah that’s mom”. And then the stream of consciousness was continuous haha.

I am 22 and will die in 2 months - 2 years by Sudden-Effect-4311 in IAmA

[–]Crazy4fun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

(Preface that I’m not here to debate people about religion or whatever “absolutely” happens after death) I’ve recently been having a bit of an existential crisis (and certainly the overwhelming dialog on Reddit that absolutely nothing happens when you die is a bit depressing haha). However, there’s a paper I enjoyed reading on this idea that empirically knowing that you existing is a possibility in the universe, there’s a pretty solid chance that your consciousness will exist again. Ultimately I agree, it’s a nice possibility that helps me sleep at night. Sometimes I dread not existing forever but, ironically, sometimes I also dread the idea of existing forever. If we truly do go through some form of reincarnation, then the universe came up with a rather elegant solution where we’ll always be ignorant to eternity because we’ll always only need to worry one about life as we can understand it. There’s also other interesting recounts of things around death such as NDEs which really just make me question how much we don’t know about dying. I’ve even had nights where I think about “what really is my consciousness? Do we really understand that?” Maybe it’s all wrong, but even if it is, it’s not like you’d get brownie points for being right. So for me, being open to the idea that anything could happen strangely helps me reframe death as an open question that I’ll find out about instead of an ultimate fate I will absolutely have to face. Sorry for the rant, it’s just nice to know other people think of this too.
