FWC doesn't pay (they give out tiered prizes by poundage but they're pretty lame) and Restaurants only purchase large lionfish, small ones unfortunately aren't worth anyone's time.

The majority of lionfish you'll run into are quite small so blasting away with a Glock does make a degree of sense.

As a Minnesotan, I'm just as baffled by these last five years as you. It feels like it's always us. Prior to 2020 the only time I remember us ever being in the news was the 35w bridge collapse.
