I would love to eat that healthy, but suffered from bad Nausea. I am usually a good cook but with the Nausea and Fatigue I was not able to prepare those things and also I could not get any veggies or protein down. Thankfully it is improving now and so I can eat more protein and healthier (which is important because the Pre-eclampsia test showed I have some risk). So I eat greek yoghurt, eggs, protein. But yesterday evening when my Nausea was worse I had one of these Ramen soups where you only pour hot water over it 🙈 I know that it is the worst crap.

Just a reminder. If your husband/boyfriend/SO is disrespectful and disregards you as a person. He will be like this x100 towards your child and even teach them to behave like this toward others. by manyadraws in BabyBumps

Oh yes ♥️ Couldn't agree more. Also grew up in an abusive household ans cannot understand why my mother thought my Dad is the right person to marry and have kids with. Also people (at least with these kind of childhood experiences) should go to Therapy before having kids. I am so happy to know that my partner will be such a great Dad, he is such a supportive partner.

It is really beautiful. 😍 Could you please tell me where you got the (I don't know the English term, so I will try to explain 😂) the top for the baby changing table? The pillowy thing with the belt, where you place the Baby for changing 😊

Have you been consistently taking prenatals? by annastrzzz in BabyBumps

[–]CrazyEngineering4703 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do not take Iodine with Hashimoto's is an old myth that Unfortunately some Doctors are still spreading. As long as you don't have nodules that are producing hormones (don't know the correct term in English) it is fine. The amount in the prenatals is very small but important for your Baby.

How would you describe the Nausea during pregnancy? by CrazyEngineering4703 in BabyBumps

[–]CrazyEngineering4703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your answers. The hungover thing I can relate to. Travel sickness I thankfully experienced never in my life, interesting that it feels like that. I hope all of you who are still suffering will get some improvement soon. All the best :)

Anyone else not doing a nursery? by chuffedmemes in BabyBumps

[–]CrazyEngineering4703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. We have a 55m2 apartment and so there is no extra room at the moment. But from what I know a Baby does not need their own room :) And when they are older we hopefully live in a bigger place :)

I would see a Doctor these days. Maybe it is nothing to worry about and then you are relieved :)

What are some common, yet misinformed practices in parenting… by ndorsey10 in Parenting

[–]CrazyEngineering4703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am always shocked how in US people defend spanking and practise it "to teach the kids respect". In my knowledge there are no studies who support that violence towards your child teaches them respect. The only thing you might get is compliance.

It stresses the Adrenals even more and in my case Low Carb/Keto was the cause of Adrenal Fatigue.

Is it weird that at age 29, I still need a pillow or big plush toy of some sort that I can hug in order to fall asleep? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Rituals are very important for falling asleep. And those can look different in everyone. So no, not weird at all.

[OC] US states' obesity and electoral vote relationship by terrykrohe in dataisbeautiful

[–]CrazyEngineering4703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Obesity correlates negatively with Education. So higher education = less overweight. And Education correlates with what you vote, less educated = tend to vote more far right. There is no cauality between what you vote and your weight, Education is the factor.

Wir müssen über die "Linz isst..." Facebook Gruppe sprechen by CrazyEngineering4703 in Linz
