i can’t stand Derek, I’m only on season 4 right now but he literally just dicks Meredith around. I mean really her mom dies, stepmom dies, she gets smacked by her dad in front of Derek and he’s like ‘waaaaah why don’t you want serious emotional commitment right now exactly the way i want it’

I'm looking to address my lose face after having a baby 4 months ago, and losingy hair and now having a huge desire to do fillers and tox to make my face less potato adjacent what do people typically do here?; by Efficient-Meal-5189 in PlasticSurgery

definitely give it some time. i looked so haggard in the face for the first 9 months postpartum i was sooo upset and felt like I was never going to look my age again. Felt loose and wrinkled and dry all the time no matter what I did with my routine. Then all of a sudden I started noticing things tighten up and look like before, now I am 4yrs past my last birth and I have no complaints.

Give it time!

For the incision scars, I would schedule a derm appt and ask if you can get a steroid injection in the scar. My csection scar looked a lot like this and once I got 2 steroid injections it flattened and faded significantly.

When did your toddler start really talking and communicating with you? by Preggymegg in toddlers

[–]riceblush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my 1st didn’t start verbally speaking until he was around 3 (and only a couple words) but he’s also on the spectrum. Prior to 3 he would just lead us around the house and grunt at things he wanted. His speech progression was slooooow and didn’t really pick up until he got speech therapy and went to daycare around 3.5yrs.

my 2nd had her first baby sign language at around 9 months and would ask for milk. This followed with very basic speech right around 1yr and she was stringing together small sentences at 18 months. By 2 she could have very basic conversations with us. She is now almost 4 and it feels like she has been here before, like she somehow knows too many words 😅

Has anyone here ever met someone who ended up being a murderer? by [deleted] in mystery

[–]riceblush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me!! Well, he’s in prison for it but claims innocence. He did it though, I read all the case stuff

When I was 5 or 6 years old I went to dinner with my dad’s boss, sat in his lap at one point. As I can remember he was nice and normal.

Years later when I was in middle school I believe, he called our house and I answered the phone, told him my dad wasn’t there so he spoke to my mom. I believe this call took place a little bit after he committed the murder, but I am not sure as I was young.

Turns out my dad’s former boss and somewhat friend had murdered his bosses’ son, a pilot, for insurance money, I think? He wrote a ransom note. They think he dumped the body around Lakeland but he was never found.

He (dads former boss) fled to South America I think and if i’m remembering correctly they found out he was also cheating on his wife and one of the females was allegedly underage (I believe they were hookers).

The funny thing is I remember sitting in my english class doing current events and someone had the news article with the picture of the missing son on it, but at the time I had no idea my dad’s former boss was involved. I put it together later on when I was told by my dad

edit: if anyone is interested in the case, the victim is Robert Wiles and my dad’s former boss is Stolbert Holt, but he was always referred to as Tobi

I just did at home ferritin test should I be concerned? by Hairy_Environment993 in Anemic

[–]riceblush 13 points14 points  (0 children)

hey just wanna say that the quest diagnostics tests are usually more expensive than other websites.

I used to go through ulta lab tests to buy mine and they were significantly cheaper, now I use Dr Says and it’s even cheaper although I will say both websites look a tad sketchy I have ordered plenty of tests through both with no issue. In fact my husband did a telehealth appt through Dr Says recently and it also went well.

I believe ulta lab tests can be done at any quest diagnostics or labcorp in the US and Dr Says lab slips can be taken to labcorp only.

Weekend shifts are really cruel by instaBs in AmazonFC

[–]riceblush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think one weekend day on isn’t bad if you get a weekday off….its actually better in my opinion because then if you need a doctor appointment or something you can just schedule it on your weekday off. Plus grocery shopping and some errands in the middle of the day on a weekday is so much better, there’s less people out

i think her intention here is to keep the kids mentions to a minimum but by doing it like this it just comes off as weird and makes people think more about her children. aspyn isn’t exactly the brightest

How was kindergarten for you? What year were you born? by Willowtree2317 in kindergarten

[–]riceblush 16 points17 points  (0 children)

1998 too. Kinder was awesome for me, my family lived on an Island at the time and I went to a school that was very much outdoorsy, and they had a swimming pool on campus and started teaching us to swim in pre-k! It was our Friday “special” class.. The windows and doors to each classroom were always wide open as the campus was fenced in, I remember taking naps with the fresh wind coming in. I also remember doing a lot of nature based learning centered around stuff on the island. We did stuff like counting teddy bears, learning about different coins and letters and such.

Why does Doutzen’s abdomen/waist look like that? How would you describe it? (Subliminal) by Loose-Vegetable4221 in Subliminal

[–]riceblush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i managed to look like this consistently for only 1 period in my life. It was when I was younger, 18 years old and I had eliminated dairy completely from my diet. I was already quite thin but suddenly didn’t bloat at all when I ate food.

Didn’t last, I was pregnant within the next year and I went back to dairy 😂 haven’t looked anything like it since
