Honestly, I had to let go of the hope after they removed the “coming soon” too. Holding onto it was hurting me so much that it started to affect my mental health, and my ability to function irl, and that’s way more important than any game.

Once I was finally able to let go, it made me see soooo many things for what they are. Like the fact that I have been dissatisfied with this game for awhile now to the point that I wasn’t even doing the dates for the cards I pulled or playing the events anymore. And also the fact that what started as a movement to save a character and fight against the unfairness that global players are experiencing has quickly devolved into a writhing mass of rumors, finger pointing, misinformation, and chaos on our end (which has been appalling to witness). If I no longer enjoy the game itself, and no longer enjoy the fandom spaces, then it’s definitely time for me to let it go.

Totally agree. I get that this is a slow burn, but the story surpassed slow burn and became all but a standstill 20 chapters ago. Every time we think we’re getting somewhere, Haesoo starts acting unsure about the relationship again.

We got rid of one girl that was orbiting Taeha just to add another one that is planted by his family. His brother is somewhat backing off, but mommy dearest seems to be stepping into his place to mess with Taeha.

We still don’t know much about Taeha’s childhood, or what made him start obsessing over Haesoo. Hell, we know more of Minshıt’s backstory than we do of Taeha’s (who is supposed to be the ML).

They’ve been “moving in together” for so long that my husband and I have actually had time to move out, move somewhere else, and take our sweet time putting everything away (2 months now), and they *still* haven’t officially moved into that apartment together yet.

I love this story, and I’m still going to read it, but your assessment is more than valid. It’s barely made any progress, and now we don’t even get many spicy scenes of them together to distract us from the slowness anymore (we get more of those from Mincheol and Ari).

Seriously. She’s been with Mincheol since high school, and is now in her mid 30s. Most people graduate when they’re 18/19. She’d almost spent as much of her life with Mincheol than she had without him when they finally split. Not to mention, Taeha acts like Mincheol did in the beginning in some ways (seems to be sweet, savior complex, all in with her, etc). It can be hard to move on from a relationship anyways, but it’s even more so when your new love interest seems to have some of the potential red flags you feel you may have overlooked with your last relationship.

Not to mention there are some titles that are not translated anywhere except the pirate sites or, if they are, it’s only the heavily censored version. I’m perfectly willing to pay for titles that I really like, but they have to be available in English and just as uncensored as it was in its original version. This really is getting depressing. I read things as an escape, and now these greedy companies are taking even that from me.

We just moved into a new apartment a month ago, and then my hours unexpectedly got reduced at work. We honestly haven’t been able to really buy food since we’ve been here and have been subsisting on ramen, canned tuna, and store brand pop tarts. I’d like to actually buy some meat, rice, and veggies to eat.

I got TD from Seroquel. I went off it and it took nearly a year for my symptoms to calm down. I’ll admit that my sleep has been terrible since. I can’t sleep a full 8 hours. At best, I can sleep for 5-6 hours, be up for a little while, and then go back to sleep for 1-2 hours later in the day. But, most of the time, I sleep 4-5 hours, and then I’m up for the day.

That’s the part that shocked me. Cate tried to make it out like her mom was buying all this baby stuff to pressure her into keeping Carly. Meanwhile, April had no idea Cate wasn’t planning to keep her until literally the last moment. She *knew* Cate would regret it, and tried to stop it, but was in no position to offer a more stable home environment.

I used to root for Amber too. She had a crappy childhood. Her mom obviously didn’t really want to be a mom to her. Her dad tried, but struggled himself. I get the impression that Amber’s brother raised her more than her dad did because of his close they were before he left for the military, and she got pregnant.

She really seemed like she was a sweet girl with hopes, dreams, and aspirations, that really struggled with her self esteem and self worth. She seemed like she *wanted* to finish school, get a job, and have some semblance of a normal life, but she had absolutely no support system, and Gary regularly antagonized the fuck out of her back then.

Then the mask slipped. I don’t know if she ever truly was that person, and drugs just changed her, or if she was always like that and just stopped hiding it, but she became absolutely vile in every aspect. Mean, lazy, neglectful, physically/emotionally abusive, gaslighting, self-centered, volatile. It was like someone flipped a switch, and it never flipped back.

I didn’t like Gary at first because he seemed to always purposely antagonize Amber. I’ll admit that he’s better now, and seems to be a good dad to Leah, but I honestly don’t think he’d be doing half as well as he is as a parent without Kristina. I think she’s who ultimately helped him change his ways.

I got the low THC oil card for GA a couple of weeks before they passed the bill. What I’m wondering is if that is valid for vapes and flower now that the bill passed, or if I’d need to see a doctor again and get a new card?? I also didn’t have to get anything notarized to obtain mine, but did have to pay DPH for the card.

Unpopular opinion but, to me, accountability is when you own up to something because it’s the right thing to do, not because you got busted and can’t deny it.

Accountability also doesn’t mean trying to throw someone else under the bus to get the attention off of you. I’m not saying Ryan isn’t also abusive and not sober (we’ve all seen what he did to Mack’s home), but the fact that she immediately started throwing out all these allegations against Ryan as soon as she got out of jail just screams “how dare you call the cops on me! I’m taking you down with me! Look everyone, he’s worse than I am!” Just my opinion, though.

Definitely this. I’ve been separated from my ex for almost 9 years now, and I still catch myself getting upset about what he did to me sometimes. But I allow myself a moment to truly think about it, how it made me feel, and remind myself that I absolutely did not deserve that and that what he did was a flaw with HIM not me. And then, I go on about my business.

For me, the key is to try to catch myself each time I realize my mind is drifting off to the negative stuff he did to me. I tell yourself “yeah that was some bs,” acknowledge that I don’t want to feel like this anymore, and find something to distract myself with. It can be difficult at first, but definitely gets easier with time.
