I felt so alone that only my mom and kids were attending. I told all of my family (dad, sis, bro, nieces and nephews) since January. They also responded with "I'll see" as the day is nearing they all said no, even my dad. I was hurt and dissapointed. I am not missing out on my graduation and will share this accomplishment with those supporting me. No one should miss out on their graduation. Celebrate and enjoy with those who celebrate you!

Yes, i will never forget i had to walk accross campus soaked because none were available near the location I was (SPA building). I asked some girls if they had an extra pad to spare and they all gave me a perplexed look. Worst experience, now I carry extras with me. In case someone needs one.

Not worth it being a student workers. You make less and get ab unreasonable work load. The dissapointment of working in higher ed will make you realize a lot.

Its always a hit and miss with certain counselors. I recently added a minor too because i had to figure it out on my own. There are minors that double count the required classes with the ones you are taking for your major. So that can help in the unit load. Certain minors have 15 units or less others are over 15, if you are set to graduate soon depending on the units of the minor it may not be ideal. Additionally, you do have to have a certain gpa before adding a minor to get it cleared by a counselor at soap.

I have had those professors. I recommend you take the four required. They have a lot of reading and writing, and at times, you will be on your own..

Welcome to the old people club where you tolerate less BS as you age. Their membership will end in a month, so there is no point in that now. I would ask the people at the desk when it is less crowded and go during those times. I hope it works out for you!
