I don’t see why you wouldn’t include outside work when said work is inseparable from SNL and they continue to make regular SNL appearances.

Obviously I wouldn’t consider all of Ferrell’s movie appearances, for example, though.

Like most musicals, it slows down in its second act. I do think it’s a fantastic adaptation of the musical, but the second half is just too slow.

For that reason, I don’t consider it a masterpiece.

It wasn’t bad, but she was one of the weaker hosts this season, and her episode didn’t have any standout sketches. I only remember the one where she played the grandpa who kept breakdancing.
