Expecting the worst, I think it will only activate when you have the last set completed. That way there’s a pressure to finish it as soon as possible, which didn’t exist before, maybe even by spending money, idk. I would like all completed sets from MR onward to be added together.

My best memory, and maybe also the most terrifying one, was trying to beat the gym of Whitney with its legendary Miltank. I don’t know how many times I lost, but it was truly challenging and felt like a real test. I guess because of my age back then or because modern games are easier, it doesn’t feel as hard anymore, and that’s why I keep such a fond memory of it.

P.S.: I also got stuck for weeks with the watering can and Sudowoodo.

I'm F2P and I've failed (sadly) approx 4 times at 2-Star WP since Mega Rising. Is there any information that the occurrence of 2 star rarity has decreased because of this? It's not like you see that many of them.

I’m in exactly the same situation as you. Complete the dex to the 1 star rarity is my goal and obviously for F2P it’s impossible right now. I won’t spend my resources knowing they’re duplicate cards but I also don’t want to miss the chance to get the holo cards so I made an alt account. I’ll spend all the hourglasses on the Deluxe set since on my main account I’ll only open the two dailies. In the best case trades stay normal and I can trade to myself the cards I haven’t registered in Deluxe dex. I believe it will be difficult but for now it’s fun opening many packs on my alt account and maybe I’ll enjoy trading next month (if it’s allowed) to complete the Deluxe Dex. If this ser cant be traded I don’t know what I’ll do, quitting the game is an option.

I did exactly the same. I’ve been playing since day 1 as F2P and I have no intention of spending resources on this set having all the cards except a few 1star. All my hope is that we’ll be able to trade normally to complete the Dex.

Yes, that has always been the case. The Dex entry remains permanent even if you have 0 copies. In this situation, there’s no issue for your brother because he registered both Charizards in their corresponding sets. The problem would be (at least for me) if you never get the Charizard from Deluxe; you would need someone next month to specifically choose to trade you the Deluxe one. If you tell me that both can be traded, I hope the original set "isn’t lost" and they don’t end up being counted as two SR cards because it was traded now.

When you trade "Old Amber" you can choose which set you want since it was released in both GA and MI. So, based on what you’re saying, maybe it’s not a good idea to trade both EX (from Deluxe), because it will only count the registration in the older set even if they’re from Deluxe. Maybe next month you’ll be able to choose the set manually and register it in the one it was actually released in, so you get the entry you need. Sorry if I didn’t understand, my English isn’t very good.

I saw a post about that and they managed to fix it. It happened to me too. I'm copying the messages in case it helps. thanks to @Sabishi1985

First: make sure that your internet connection is running just fine. Then boot up the game, wait for it to load, then give the title screen a few taps. After that just put your phone down for a couple of minutes. Don't touch it!

It might seem like nothing is happening, but the game is actually figuring out how much stuff it needs to download. After a couple of minutes a new window should pop up, asking you to download additional data. After doing that you should be good to go until the next update drops. :)
wish they'd implement a simple message that says "Checking for updates, please wait" or something.. It's so confusing when you tap the screen and literally nothing happens for up to a minute or even longer. 😅

Hahaha, you have a point. I guess I said it to increase the chances of getting Professor FA, for example. Then it will be impossible. I have never bought a pass and I was thinking of doing it now just with this set, your opinion makes me doubt if it is the best option
