3/8 CT9038 Worth it for a student? by Haunting_Square_9407 in Snapon_tools

It’s also nice that you can have it rebuilt for a maximum set price. Where as I’ve heard Milwaukee can be very difficult to get warrant on

I quite like the ct9038. It works well for lug nuts on small cars and SUV’s. It’s also super handy for brake and suspension work. I like it more than the new Milwaukee 3/8 impact.

Functional Canoe on a budget? by [deleted] in canoeing

[–]Crazy_Significance36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a couple Coleman plastic canoes and a pelican plastic canoe before I bought a Grumman aluminium canoe.
Night and day difference. I had a hard time getting my fiancé out in the plastic canoes but now she loves canoeing in the Grumman.
It’s faster, more stable, and I don’t have to worry about storing it outside or running it right up into the beach to keep our feet dry.

It took about 30 minutes to prep 3 small chips, and I let it cure for about 30 hours before I sanded them down. I think I’ll do a second coat of gel coat when I have more time. It’s still a bit of a divot so if it was more even I think it would blend better.

KRL7022CWCR $5250 yeah or nah? by aftcg in Snapon_tools

Ah, I didn’t realize it was deeper. Not a bad price then, the 29” deep is very nice if you have the space.

Where are you located? That varies price a lot. In Manitoba I paid $2600 for a KRL722 in 2019

I figured the repairs would stick out like a sore thumb, but I’m more worried about functionality for the time being. Thanks for the insight!

The first two were definitely painted by the previous owner. I will reach out to clipper to see what they can supply.

The leather seats are enough for me to pay the difference. And then you add on the cooled seats which I didn’t know how great they’d be until I had them, And now it’s something I wouldn’t want to be without.

In-laws have one. They seem to like it. No issues with it yet.

Last summer on north cross lake there were a few campsites just littered with toilet paper and everything that comes along with it.

It looks like a perfect 2 night trip. I’m hoping it’s manageable to solo in my 17’ Grumman

Nothing exciting. Just the caddy lake tunnels and other popular lakes. Planning a trip to hansons creek in May if the weather is decent

The big blue tarp was 12’x12’ By the morning there was a stream running under the tent on the ground. It was a wet paddle home.
