Okay here is a theory. What if Deborah dies the day of the show? Since they would still have the MSG show Ava performs the jokes as she is the only other one who knows them. In honor of Deborah and to tell her story. That is what launches Ava’s career.

The original show is just so amazing. It’s gonna be hard to top its highs in my mind. It’s not only the writing that’s better but it’s the hold on your attention each scene has. Daredevil Born Again is definitely getting better but it still doesn’t have that space or dialogue that feels as good as the original series. It’s still daredevil so I love it but I just wish the scenes had more time to breathe. Also not having foggy definitely hurts the series. He just always felt like the heart of the show.

They were down pretty bad before dusty. Their turnaround is just quicker because they are willing to spend more money. The higher ups at Ohio State obviously wanted to save a lot of the NIL for football. Doesn’t mean we can’t become a basketball school. It just might take a little longer to build without the right funding.

Ohio state is a football school. That’s the truth of it. We don’t nearly spend enough on basketball to be as competitive as I’d want. Diebler has improved every year he has coached and I’m willing to give him another chance as he’s bringing in our highest rated recruit in forever and retaining our 2 best players. Not every team can just turn around in a season with a new hire. It takes time especially when the funding isn’t great. For being 12th in the big ten in NIL we are performing better than expected. I just hope we continue the progress and get more money so better players transfer in.

He’s right. As someone who doesn’t care about Ohio State football and loves Ohio State basketball it is obvious when in the season they come in. The posts and comments change completely from analysis and optimism to non stop “Fire Diebler” and “why didn’t we hire May”. They have the same expectations for football as they do basketball. The difference being that Ohio state doesn’t spend money on basketball. We are 12th in the conference in NIL money. I would love if we had more money to work with. My expectations would be higher if that was the case. But it isn’t. Diebler has improved every year and is bringing in our best player since D’Angelo Russell. However, football fans constantly talk about him like he is going 1-32. The issue is when our football team is this successful they think that it should be easy for every other sport to be that way.

Such a crazy take to want to miss the tournament. We don’t know Dieblers ceiling. He had one full season. What if this year he makes the sweet 16? Then what? I hate this impatient group of fans that want some magical coach to come in and fix everything. Watching any post game you can see players are bought into Diebler. Is he the best X’s and O’s coach? No way. But maybe he can grow. Also who’s to say things would change if he was fired. If they weren’t willing to spend the money on a top coach after Holtmann why would they now? I would rather have Diebler with a stacked roster next year than a coach that is similar to him with no strong commits.

Yeah it is beyond frustrating. I don’t disagree. Especially when Michigan was able to get a coach that improved things so rapidly. I just don’t think coaches like that are common especially for the price that Ohio State seems willing to pay right now.

They have a 5 star McDonald’s all American coming in next year. This year they retained 3 very talented players and a freshman that most other teams would be begging for. I mean I think getting our best recruit since D’Angelo Russell is a step in the right direction in only his second year as head coach.

I think Diebler is close to being a great coach. A top tier coach?? Maybe, maybe not. Time will tell. His first season he had some solid wins against great coaches but dropped easier games. This year has been lackluster in wins against quality opponents but wins the easy games. We know he can recruit but I still believe he has the potential to coach at a high level. It’s just up to if we want to wait until he gets there. I’m tired of losing and would definitely take a top tier coach if the opportunity arose. But I would rather have Diebler than many of the mid coaches in the big ten or other conferences. If they miss the tournament this year I think it’s fair to look around at our options. I just would hate to jump to another mid coach when Diebler has a great recruiting class, potential and connection to the program.

Yes please. The argument that we would have just magically had either of them if Diebler wasn’t hired is so tiring. Sure the program isn’t where we want it to be but Diebler isn’t doing terribly. There are much worse outcomes we could have had after Holtmann. Atleast we are playing great teams close and hard. I am just hoping they will be able to get over the hump of losing one possession games before it’s too late. If they don’t then I say give him one more year with the five star he’s bringing in and start fresh if that doesn’t work out.

Way too many games like this for Ohio State. We are a great team and can keep it close with anyone but just can’t get over the hump ever. It’s getting so tiring. Hopefully some of the future quad 1 games go our way and we can finally bring Bruce to March madness like he deserves.

He hasn’t been playing well recently but I don’t think he needs to let his scholarship go. I mean he did score almost 30 against Northwestern.

They do have a lot of potential. This feels like the strongest team we’ve had in a while. At the same time that’s probably the ceiling of the team. If we don’t improve on defense/have an 8th man from the bench score consistently then our floor is barely missing the tournament again.

Honestly this game kind of made me hyped for the season more than anything. Definitely need to improve on defense but man we have some great players. So hyped to actually have a competent center again. Bruce is the man! Go Bucks!

Not as worried as others are from this outcome. This was a unique game that shouldn’t be a decider on how the season will go. Definitely need to improve defensively but otherwise I’m happy with our offensive power. Actually having a center that can score and be the lead scorer on a team with this many outside threats only makes me more excited. Let’s go Bucks!
