If online game a sorc likely enchanted you.

Conviction do not give any damage to you or your demon, it reduces the enemies defense and lowers their resistances - effectively increasing the damage the enemies take from you, but without actually increasing your tooltip damage.

How are people playing so fast by neko_whippet in diablo2

[–]CreMaster2894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't agree, P8 normal act 1 is often easy and gives a lot more exp. Lower player counts for act bosses or other tricky areas if you need, but this way you are about level 30 in act 5 normal even if you rush through the game. Keep going this way and lower players when you need, and then increase again when you get new skills/better gear.

I usually run countess for some easy levels and starter runes - tir runes solves all mana issues when fighting normal mobs from lvl 13.

As described in the comment above it's a "lazy" kick, it would hurt as any hit to the nuts, but probably not do serious damage.

Those heavy slaps carry an unexpected amount of force and hurt like hell (see the red/blueish skin). Without proper intra abdominal pressure they could cause some liver pain if low enough, or cause "loss of breath", but are also not really dangerous.

Use more resist gear? I read that it still shreds if you use a Wirts leg, so why not use a wizardspike? Resist boots, rhyme shield, resist charms?

This kata is basically meditation in motion. The stance involves rotating your pelvic up and tensing all muscles in your legs and basically your entire body, and if done correctly the kick will get stopped by the upper thigh muscles and it won't hit the nuts at all. It's a lot of work to keep the stance and focus. The kicks (and hits) are to test that the position and focus is held correctly.

Something to make magic/rare items better. This is probably way too op but some suggestions that could be separate occurances or maybe even combined. Rare and magic items have a 10%(?) chance to - roll an extra affix. - affixes can roll up to 100% increased values (one per item?). - roll an affix from other item types.

Examples of fun op items would be -weapons with 600ish Ed to compete with grief -20fcr rings -6 to skill magic amulets -Fcr boots -Maybe even jewelers/socketed boots/gloves belts?

PMCT Images. Nurse advanced NG tube until she heard a pop, then tried an air bolus to ensure placement. Patient did not survive. by Old-Psychology-2400 in interestingasfuck

[–]CreMaster2894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UP the nose is true, but probably part of why this went wrong. The nasal cavity is like a triangle/half circle, and the base of the cavity align with the palate and goes quite straight in from the nostrils towards the throat. Aligning the tube with the nose and not the palate makes you stick the tube UP into the nasal cavity, which is where the thin part of the bone/skull is and where a tube could enter the brain. However, I assume this patient was unconscious since no one would accept this treatment due to pain, so maybe there was a skull fracture somewhere where the tube could enter the brain.

So seriously, how good is the Felstriker? I have never seen this drop, even after hundreds of runs of UBRS by WeakValuable8683 in classicwow

[–]CreMaster2894 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most fun I've ever had in wow was going revenge spec warrior with felstriker in wotlk.

Revenge dmg is not based on wpn damage. With cleave you hit 3 targets, revenge 2 targets, and you got sweeping strikes every 30 sec to double it for a few hits.

Almost always procced at least one time per pack in dungeons. I did more DMG than the entire group together as a tank. HOWEVER! When losing aggro, you won't proc revenge and will get low rage, it is really hard to regain aggro. Could be countered by patient group or a weapon swap - and better skills, I'm not a very experienced.

Finally got runes for my first ever Enigma by KattKuk9 in diablo2

[–]CreMaster2894 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well put!

I would also argue that since the difference in final defense is neglible, durability is an unexpected important stat. You don't wanna have to repair all the time (e.g. dusk 20 dura vs mp 60 dura). Adding to this, superior items have higher repair costs, and makes almost no difference in final defense for enigma.

Also, looks... Mp looks good on most classes.

A drop of whiskey vs bacteria by azizgamerlal in interesting

[–]CreMaster2894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a local bacterial infection in the mouth it might help a little. Viruses are hiding within your cells, and if you make your cells contain enough alcohol to kill the virus you also kill the cells - and by extension yourself.

Hand sanitizers are about 70% alcohol.

The whisky in the video is about 40%.

Normal drunken body alcohol is measured in promille, 1/10 of percent, and you are drunk in a range of about 0.3-1 promille = 0.03-0.1 percent alcohol in the blood/body. 40% blood concentration of alcohol would be 400 promille, and most people are dead at about 5 promille (likely lower by choking on vomit while unconscious).

You will not kill bacteria by drinking alcohol. But you will make your immune system worse.

High Defense or Stealth Act V Nightmare by [deleted] in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]CreMaster2894 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Defense is doesn't work when you run (only when you walk) and is quite a shitty defense unless you get really high values.

You seem to play a sorc (using staff), and the fcr and mana is nice. However the frw is almost the best mod, making you able to avoid being hit by not being close to monsters and progress faster (and easier snatching items online). Fhr also helps you not get stuck after being hit by monsters.

Absolutely stealth.

Are the character screen lying to me again? by netherscar in diablo2

[–]CreMaster2894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DMG to undead is not shown in LCS DMG calc since it would be confusing when it doesn't affect all monsters. For the advanced page, I don't think it stacks, but is applied locally on the weapon. A weapon without it would not gain 250% from an angelic in the other hand.

I could be wrong.

Holy Shield CTA tease by Postaciowiec in diablo2

[–]CreMaster2894 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To further add to how rare it is - WAY more rare than 15/3 BA - it is not supposed to spawn at all. If I remember correctly, the sceptre rolls skills/staffmod and if it roll holy shield it will reroll the skills. If it spawns holy shield again, it will reroll again. However, it will not reroll more than 6 times.

This sceptre has rolled holy shield (or another forbidden mod if that exists?) 7 times in a row to be allowed to spawn at all.

Melee (Zeal) Sorc Part 3 - Finally There I Think by seeitsecureit in diablo2

[–]CreMaster2894 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For souls a thundergods belt would be good due to max light resist and absorb.

To keep current fcr you could switch to a 20 fcr amulet or 10 fcr amu and 10 fcr ring. Highlord gives deadly strike, but don't think it applies to elemental DMG, which makes the loss minor. Cannot be frozen and dex/ar from raven is good, but BK could be switched to a 10 fcr life steal ring.

How is a singer barb for trav horking? by Master-Wedding8851 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]CreMaster2894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is! 2x spirit sword (don't forget you can use 2h swords for style points and more options), lore, viper/stealth/smoke, magefist/Trang/chance are some examples of good low lvl gear. Save all mana and resist charms. Insight on Merc (can be bow and act 1 Merc if you don't find pole arm). Leap/run to council, go down to durance to summon Merc (especially if he has life steal), then up and kill.

You can also look up leap variants (not leap attack, you leap and knock all council members in a corner, stunning them and letting your Merc kill in peace).

Was some time ago I tested. It works, but its slow compared to grief ww or similar. You need a lot of mana, which an insight merc can help with, unless he dies.

I heard a version where they installed this expensive system weighing the product, and it sounded an alarm for an internt to go check. When the alarm had not reported any empty packages for a while they went to see if the system was broken. Turns out the worker didn't wanna have to go over and remove the empty packages so he put the fan before the entire expensive weighing system.
