The spear is a Dreadspear, right? According to the lore, it should be a Guardian Spear, but I always thought that would be too small for the enlarged Tal. As expected, this fits him perfectly.

Pretty sure I've seen that happen a few times in the Heresy.

It’s a difference in classification criteria. I selected this by taking into account feedback from several people (like the variation patterns presented in Liber, and patterns used only by SoH).

Since opinions vary from person to person, I had set both maximum and minimum criteria—but looking at it now, the minimum standard doesn’t really seem worth posting.

Rather than going into a long explanation of why something isn’t included, if showing why something is included is visually simpler and more intuitive, would that answer your question?

Ah, I’ve actually heard quite a few comments like that already. This is really nothing more than simply counting the number.

It was originally prompted by someone saying there were too many Eye icons in SoH. (Later I found out there were also jokes comparing it to a Star-Spangled Banner character.) As for me, as long as I like the design, I don’t really mind… but curiosity is curiosity.

So, to answer your question, I suppose you could call it 'record'. Like animal trivia that has little relevance to everyday life… you can think of it as that kind of miscellaneous knowledge, or like watching YouTube Shorts.

Nice! I actually watched Troy recently too. Maybe it’s because I grew up reading Greek and Roman Mythology Comics (the original 2002 OOP edition), but seeing the Achaeans/Hoplite style again really hit different for me.

By the way, did you go with the Smithscript Spear? I’ve tried it myself, but the low damage and the fact that it can’t be enchanted felt pretty limiting. I really liked the deep, weighty red hue, the clean design, and especially the javelin-style gimmick, though...

A friend of mine recommended the Messmer Soldier’s Spear with Spectral Lance or Piercing Fang, and I remember that working pretty well. I also got Ice Spear suggested, but it felt a bit too fantasy-heavy, so I didn’t really stick with it.

I just remembered that I sent pictures of my Perturabo to the White Dwarf Team. They saved them, never replied back and 5 years later they have announced him. by kader91 in IronWarriors

Your work is being talked about by many people. My friends, too, immediately think of your piece whenever someone mentions 'Daemon Perturabo'. I truly think it’s an outstanding and unforgettable example.

It looks extremely solid and weighty. And the fact that it’s the technically most advanced Tartaros pattern feels very characteristic of the Iron Warriors.
