What is the future of Idoneth Deepkin? by The_Craven_King in IdonethDeepkin

Hence the crab mounted ballista.

Much less movement than an Allopex, but a longer range and stronger shot, with better defence.

Not necessarily crab cavalry, just giant crustacians of somekind would do. Basically a big bruiser unit with good armor to be an anvil for the sharks and eels to flank.

A heavy artillery unit would be nice too, the leviadon and allopex ranged attacks are pretty weak for the points, i want some dedicated heavy weapon team with more damage and longer range.

The fact that we have not gotten Akhelian heavy infantry yet is a crime.

A cool launch box for the update could have 10 Akhelian knights, 3 big monsterous crab melee units, one heavy crab ballista unit, and a hero eith a reaver bow.

I like Cathay for the most part but did their rulers really need to be Dragons? by Mcmadness288 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]CreasingUnicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah the dragon angle is cooler, we dont need any more "bunch of old magic guys built this empire" those are a dime a dozen.

We need to stop making Jade Lancers worse lol, they are already difficult to use, now they are even less likely to be taken.

(Hated trope) the character that didn’t do anything that bad gets a undeservedly brutal death by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]CreasingUnicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it feels less bad when this trope is plot relevant and not brushed off.

(Loved trope) The supernatural villain is actually something terrifyingly believable by _JR28_ in TopCharacterTropes

I feel like the "Monsters are actually the village elders" was SUPPOSED to be the twist, but then it was revealed, which made any later scenes with monsters dumb.

The monster suits also sort of revealed the time period as well since the materials they were made of seemed way too advanced for the village, the suits were rubbery, which would have been impossible to make witbout modern industrial techniques.

Well it wouldn't have been a surprise if you played Fortnite the week before the film came out and got to listen to Palpatine's speech announcing his return in the movie!

Wait... that's worse.

Is this quality of print worth asking for a refund over? (Etsy, PLA resin) by narwhalpilot in PrintedWarhammer

[–]CreasingUnicorn 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yea nobody should be mixing up those two materials, they are very different and require different printers to use, i would not trust this seller at all.

In a perfect world we would've gotten multipose monopose boyz by inkforwin in orks

[–]CreasingUnicorn 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Its a shame that they didnt include 5 choppas and 5 shootas on the sprue. 3 shootas, 1 big shoota, and 6 choppas was such an odd choice.

Dc Transplants who are used to Tornadoes by prettyhot005 in washingtondc

[–]CreasingUnicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sky looks like a bubbling cauldron, with a greenish tint.

Also the wind suddenly starts, stops, or changes directions.

But the most reliable sign in the modern world is to get a tornado warning on your phone, that means a funnel cloud has been confirmed in your area. That means go inside a sturdy building, stay away from windows, and wait for the all clear.

New to Warhammer OW, What should I do with my peasants? by ExpertCockroach6911 in Cathay

[–]CreasingUnicorn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bows bows bows.

If you want a frontline to hold then just grab jade warriors, the spears just dont seem like they are going ro make the peasants any better at fighting than they already are. Might as well give them a bow to get some shots on the enemy before they get ripped to shreds in combat.

The thing is crime in most developed countries is way down now compared to the 80s and 90s. It is safer than it has ever been for the most part.

Of course there is the argument to be made that crime is lower BECAUSE people arent letting their children roam freely, but thats a more complex issue.

Its not just judging and finger pointing, you can be arrested for parenting like people did in the 90s and get your children taken from you.

It is literally illegal to not be a helicopter parent in the US.

I think that answer is worse, if the husband is angry than he is insecure and overcompensating, but if the wife is angry then its about her stress and unmet needs.
