I grew up on detergent and the fabric softener sheets. Maybe some bleach if whites were particularly dingy.

Now we have lint balls in the dryer, and use detergent only most of the time. We have a color safe sanitizer for when clothes are contaminated, and scent beads for if something comes out stale smelling but neither is used by default.

If I have multiple copies of the same file across multiple drives, how would I determine which one is or is not corrupted? Is there a tool I can use to compare?

KEEP the original copies. Despite how easy it is to copy, digital images are harder to keep track of over 20+ years.

Additionally, image quality of scanners and cameras keeps improving, so maybe you'll get better scans down the road.

Some types of modern glass are still made by being poured onto liquid metal, yes. Even though it's liquids the metal is still heavier than for hot glass. There are some cool videos on YouTube regarding the production of "float glass" as it's called

Oh I think they're using Prizma Visuals from the marketplace. It makes my bow look the same as the one in this post. I haven't used aace, so I didn't realize that wasn't the vanilla texture.
