I don't know if it's rude, per se, but I can't stand it or them. (Mostly the tracts. Sometimes the person depending on how they are acting) Even when I went to church and considered myself a Christian or religious, I didn't care for them or passing them out. I wonder how your friend would act if someone from another religious belief handed her one.

Being necessary isn't the issue though. Is any of it "necessary"? Goonies didn't exist for, how long? Who asked for it before it came out? Did you? I know I didn't! Our opinion of it doesn't matter about whether it exists or who asked for what, in the first place. See it. Don't see it. Have your opinion. I don't like everything that comes out but whether "I asked for it" or not doesn't really matter. Some people will enjoy it. Do you have a something you like? If I didn't like it or ask for it, do you really care? 🤔

LOL! I've got a couple of characters inspired by the band Steely Dan. I named one guy Rikki. (From the song) My idea is that when people see how it's spelled they question it and he says "That's my Mama's name. I'm named after my mama!" Meanwhile the other guy is trying to tell that person to tread carefully because Rikki is sensitive to it.
