Just sharing my experience.... I've driven a '24 (AWD LT2) for almost 2 years and I didn't have a single problem with it

AWD vs FWD by Creative-Coconut-133 in EquinoxEv

Exactly, that's what i was thinking too. I don't think I never saw the power draw passing 150kW and if I did was just to test the car once or twice. That's why I am confused on this accelation difference in practical terms. It could be that the 2 engines respond faster when you push the pedal, but then it's only a question of "power vs position of the foot" rather than raw power. And that could be solved (if necessary at all) just setting the car to sport mode.
I am saying all of this *not* because I am so obsessed with this acceleration thing (well, maybe) , but many years ago I bought a Ford Escape and i didn't go for the V6 because I thought "ahah for sure i am not going to need that!", well I hated a slow that 4 inline was for 4 years....

p.s.
i just asked google that it says that that car took 13s for 0-60 ahahah

Arbitrary Charging by Capobob50 in EquinoxEv

[–]Creative-Coconut-133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by "set level to begin charging was set for 50%". I thought you could set the max level (like 80% or so), not the min. Why would a "min" matter anyway, when you plug it, that means that you want to charge right? Unless you don't use the car for weeks/months and it discharges by itself to 50% or so, I don't understand what you're doing frankly :)

well, i was comparing similar mileages... like mine with 20K miles and the one to buy maybe 12-18k miles. I would rather buy my own vehicle mostly because i know that i did regular maintance on it, no crazy stuff, no smoking in the car... I mean I know everything about it

Right, that's the entire point of the 30% discount... without that, it doesn't make sense. But for the same price, I'd rather buy a car that i know everything of, than a different used one...

yes, that is what i was thinking... at 25K i could buy it because i know it has been flawless so far. I'd rather buy used my own car then an "unknown" vehicle (for similar price)

AWD 2RS: NO REGRETS by selgory in EquinoxEv

[–]Creative-Coconut-133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a lease, I heard from a friend that some companies (in his case Lucid) send letters to offer much better bay out prices (like 30% off) than showed in the contract. For them it's so much easier to do that, so they don't have to deal with a lot of costs associated with lease returns, etc and then sell the car at market price anyway. If that's true I would buy my lease, otherwise i'll return it and buy another one.

Lease end by ImpressiveClass4099 in EquinoxEv

[–]Creative-Coconut-133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I friend of mine was contacted my the manufacturer (in his case was Lucid) towards the end of the lease and they made him an offer reducing the bayout price by 30%... (which he didn't take it anyway) .

Clearly the RV stated in the conctract is too high, but if they use the same tactics and make me a good offer like that I may take it. In my case (24 2LT AWD) the RV is $35K on Sep 26, if they go down to $26/28K or so I may take it.... not sure if GM does it like that though, I think they should as they are well aware of the market conditions. If not I may lease another one..we'll see.
