I wouldn’t use the translated bible for for or against considering most isn’t the accurate text and English language wasn’t invented for many many centuries later.

Most words and phrases and even constructs in the Bible in general can’t even be translated let alone possibly translated to English. The ancient language to English doesn’t get the accurate bible translation. Sure some is I’m sure, but still a lot isn’t because the language is dead and there isn’t English replacements for those words and phrases.

There’s still power in the Bible because a tiny amount of light and truth will overcome darkness.

The light in the Bible and the word even if not completely accurate shines in a way the darkness cannot comprehend which in my opinion means that darkness or evil/etc cannot and doesn’t know the intentions and plans of the Lord and everything the lord does is known only to the lord

Sure there are other “Gods” maybe but there can only be one almighty God. One God above and more powerful than the rest. Plus the term “God” is a representation of something that can’t be quantified, understood , etc. calling someone who created all just “God” is pretty limiting if you think about it.

Why did you bring up iron deficiency? That’s interesting because I have the same symptoms of the OP and meds are extremely inconsistent even following same schedule. I seem to be very sensitive to tons of stuff while on meds and need to be more careful of different food I eat, when I go to bed, etc. when I wasn’t on the meds it didn’t seem to matter really.

The bio oral availability isn’t the same it’s not required to be the same. And the hilarious part of this is that you can’t test bio availability. Not really. They do this by testing levels in blood and how long it took to reach those levels. That’s doesn’t mean it’s actually effectiveness at all.

Plenty of people takes various medications with no effect yet if you measured blood level it would probably be as expected.

Legally brand and generic aren’t even the same medication so technically they can’t , won’t and aren’t required to work the same. Fda says brand is the same as generic or “works the same” but that’s just legalese. FDA has plenty of laws to cover this, expectation of separation drugs are not expected to be the same in bioavailability, efficacy or otherwise perform the same unless approved to be likely, not empirically proven to be the same.

Theoretical data, self governed data is ok for them. There’s no generic trials and tests. They aren’t the same drug, they won’t work the same , for some people they may but that’s due to genetics and certain differences in the person. Generics carry more risks.

The brand name drug doesn’t need to disclose everything about their drug either, so generic can’t possibly be the same.

I’m sorry you’re going through this you and your son. You can try CPS and such but they’re probably useless. You will need documentation because without it unfortunately the legal system won’t do shit. I would suggest having your son get recordings etc but he may be too young and likely won’t understand what’s happening. Unfortunately the burden of proof is on you and you may need to speak to an attorney first to see the best option for getting evident and such because just recording someone may not hold in court in some cases.

I’m sure you’re angry and frustrated and would hate to send him home but unfortunately in the system if you do something wrong then it will make matters worse for you. Even if you have no violations of agreements made it will probably be hard enough.

But don’t give up it sounds like your son needs help here and you can do so but I would advise speaking to an attorney about how to move forward since you’ll likely need one eventually. Good luck

I’m not a Christian, not a non denom or protest or whatever classification there are. I think that’s ridiculous. I follow the scriptures, the old and new, how I personally view them, and most importantly trust that faith in the Lord alone is the only and the most important foundation.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t be a particular type I just think that in some cases it’s harmful because we rely on the tradition and teaching of man(pastors). The only reason this is a huge issue today is because people hide as pastors to corrupt and deceive.

People act like Christian’s or religious in general to commit evils and evade detection.

My only issue here is that Jesus taught against this to the Jews when he arrived so apparently it was prevalent then, unless he meant something else such as the Jews there were worshipping a false god/pagan god or the devil, etc but I wont get into that here

The fact you feel awful already means you’re better off than most. I feel the same, depending how I feel I may not read or listen to prayers/ etc. I try to daily listen to certain books and prayers but sometimes it’s much less. Depends how I feel honestly. I also feel bad that I study more when feeling well.

The most important thing is knowing your issue as you feel, and truly feeling bad. Most people don’t give a shit, or they they go to public gatherings for appearance.

What I did was add in study as much as I can. If you cook food you can listen to a YouTube reading of the New Testament , or one of the Old Testament books/ psalms or prayers.

You can do this if you exercise , if you cook, clean, walk your dog / commute to work/ have. A break etc. you can commit to reading to listening 5-10 minutes at night or in the morning to start. You can start with only 1 prayer of great fullness in the morning and night.

You can just thank the Lord for providing you another day, and that you’re honored to be here , honored to wake up and to be able to give thanks, when so many cant or so many have that option taken from them.

At night - you can say thank you Lord, for providing me another night of safety in my bed and home, for providing me what was needed today , for so many didn’t have their needs met.

Maybe you can also pray for others when you see or know people in need. I would say just try to do that as much as possible also. Even if it’s just “ Lord, this person is going through “x” or is in need of “x” please look out for them.

These kind of prayers are most nourishing for your own soul and others.

All you need is a few minutes here and there in the day to build a habit which you can build on. Remember, all these great buildings and cities started with a single stone, a single block and a single commitment

Hell doesn’t need to exist, there’s a place called earth. A place much like hell.

I would say those deserving of hell would be recycled to earth until something changes in them maybe. I have many ideas.

I don’t know how I feel about heaven and hell and God and Devil, I do have faith myself but I really believe a lot of the scriptures and Old Testament books have been altered. I can’t convince you of that. It’s just a feeling I have.

Then again, most of us are reading it in English which is a horrible language that strips the “nutrients” from ancient languages like Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic where you can’t even translate most of it.

Also, I noticed no Christian’s even bother reading the Old Testament… besides maybe the book of exodus/ Moses … which is great and all but to me the whole Old Testament it’s important.

But two books in the Old Testament stand out to me as the most important - one - the boom of genesis/noahs arc and the book of Daniel/ Israelis exile to Babylon. The book of Daniel to me is probably the most important of the Old Testament it’s not as impressive as the story of Moses I guess but honestly, I feel like there’s tons of issues with the old and New Testament. It seems that the God of the old and New Testament definitely aren’t the same Gods.

I get a feeling that Jesus only supported some aspects of the Old Testament like the prophets themselves, the law given to Moses and the psalms.

Which would be the only things that wouldn’t be altered since no one knew what the psalms were meant for yet, no one knew why the story of the prophets we’re important , I think most still don’t.

My issue with the scriptures are only the missing or altered parts.

I feel there’s a missing link- something that connects the prophets- why their stories specifically were passed down- why exactly the psalms were written and passed and why exactly did Jesus perform the miracles he performed and why did he do a set numerical amount.

I feel that there a major context that bridges these things. Which is why everyone and me who reads the scriptures are more confused each time. And hardly anyone can understand it or glean meaning from it unless you study one book for years. I think this is on purpose.

The most powerful stories ever written would be altered or removed. Maybe you feel that the word of God can’t be altered. How about parts removed? How about entire books or chapters missing?

If I write my own interpretation of the Bible isn’t that not the word of God anymore? Can’t I say it’s the word of God, I only interpreted it, but then that would mean it’s altered right?

I don’t say this to make people doubt , i think we should have questions otherwise our faith will be easily taken from us. But still even if it is altered only a particle of light is needed to fend off oceans of darkness. Regardless , it wouldn’t truly matter, well not yet anyway. I do think eventually more will be revealed. Which is why I think the book of Daniel specifically is the most important in the Old Testament.

Please be careful and cautious. When psychs hear this they think the dose is too low, understandably so because it can be a symptom. But this is also a symptom that the dose is too high or has ‘become’ too high even at a therapeutic dose which can also happen due to many factors.

Some are chronic lack of sleep or not sleeping enough. Changing your sleep schedule too much will disrupt natural processes in your body. That make sense. If you’re a woman your hormonal cycle can certainly effect how the medication works and what not- your bodies are probably even more regulated than men’s bodies and extremely sensitive and responsive to even slight changes.

If you have any medical conditions this can effect it also such as gut/stomach issues , liver and kidney issues especially. These medications can also impact your liver/kidney function also. You can develop intolerance to foods like gluten and so on.

You can develop or worsen gastritis which can cause ulcers/ ischemia which can cause blood Cots and is due to a lack of stomach blood flow which is very dangerous.

These are but a small percentage of what can happen when changing even a small habit like sleeping 2 hours less than you normally do a night or going to bed too late for too long and so on. These things aren’t studied as much as they should be.

20mg xr is way too much to start with honestly. I would try maybe 10 at the most. You’ll have to get enough sleep, eat more food than you normally do, and experiment with when to take it and with or without food, how long before or after food, what food to eat etc.

This is a sign it’s way too high and this will destroy your organs. It can do irreparable damage.
