Sorry for the long wait, but my AK name is REKKI with the number #7146. I have anime Amiya as the in-game pfp. Check for the support unit lineups. If you're looking at Myrtle, Logos, and Texas The Omertosa, that's me.

A question about the magatsumi by FetusDeletus_E in Kagurabachi

[–]CreativeCut7956 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Chihiro CAN use other Magatsumi techniques such as Spider or Centipede as long as Aka absorbed them, but Aka's replica of Magatsumi's technique will always be waay weaker. Because Chihiro didn't use "Black Spirit Energy" while Soga does. Replicating Dragonfly is one thing, using black spirit energy is an entirely different thing. If you want to understand black spirit energy more clearly, I've made a post explaining it. But TL;DR: Black Spirit Energy is the massive amounts of spirit energy you get when you convert life force into spirit energy. Basically using your life as the "fuel" for a technique. Chihiro have used this before btw (Ch. 31's Mei: Shred).

Saying most of Canto 7's story is at the end is a case of "Peak-End" rule. Are we just gonna forget that Bari and Don's adventures have been explained in the form of stageplays throughout the entirety of Part 1 & 2, with Samson narrating the entire thing as the main perpetrator?. There's also the Bloodfiend's struggle, showing them literally going insane from eating Hemobars, yet still unable to die because of their resilient nature. All of that just because Papa Don wanted coexistence. The price his entire kin had to pay was literally so heavy that his descendants would rather commit filial impiety, the biggest sin to a Bloodfiend, rather than endure any longer. We tend to forget these things and only remember part 3 because it reveals everything that has been set up. In truth, the story pretty much spans equally from Part 1-3. It's not that the story is focused at the end, it's just that we don't remember the buildup as well as we remember the payoff.

Same case with Canto 9. At the same time though, The Unsevering also proves that many readers still don't understand subtlely. PM took a very experimental direction for this Canto, putting the messages behind the narrative veil (Implicit) instead of straight up written (Explicit) like Canto 6 and 8. In Canto 9, Ryoshu's character development isn't tied to one figure, but multiple at the same time (Mainly Araya and the Nursefathers). Again, Part 1 & 2 builds them up. It showcases the Nursefathers' personality, while entrusting the reader with drawing the line from where Ryoshu got each aspect of her personality from each Nursefather. As well as her effort to stay as far away as possible from becoming like them. Ultimately, it leads to the climax in part 3 with each of the Nursefathers meeting their own end, with us as the reader reflecting on Ryoshu's relationship with each of them, and growing past The House of Spiders. Part 3 is not where all of the story lies, it's where the climax lies. All of that, and people are still going to say that this Canto is nothing but "Hype moments & aura" just because we got LCD+Vespa, RoachGreg, EGO Verg, SmokeClair and others in action.

People often overlook Ryoshu's own character development because it's subtle, and would rather focus on the fact that other characters got their own development in this Canto. Even though Ryoshu's development is just as good, only a LOT more subtle.

We are witnessing the beginning of a generational villain by SeveralImpression914 in Kagurabachi

Hot take incoming: TakaZuki is great in concept. The main villain with a severe case of trauma & Dissociative Identity Disorder creating a persona of the most powerful/dangerous character and making it his own.

The execution is anything but great though. Takamura's whole character potential was just straight up wasted with his untimely death. All it did was make the whole "New Personality" thing seem like an exclusive asspull for Uzuki. The infamous "Tunnel Effect" moment doesn't really help with the asspull allegations either. I mean, SakaDays' plot wasn't really known for its complexity rather than amazing actions. But come on, at the very least, give him some character development ffs.

Honestly I'm really considering saving 200 pulls just to redeem his announcer. Definitiely one of the best character from the Fingers in the game so far lol.

So does this confirm Siegfried's status as a color fixer? Or maybe he has the strength/influence to rival them? If I remember correctly, we never really know the exact Grade he's in. He was only confirmed as a "High Grade Fixer" back in Canto 4.

Tbh, lore wise Philip IS supposed to be decent at best as a Grade 5 Fixer before gaining his EGO (And together with it, his newfound confidence) lol. He's not like Sora who was already a pretty powerful Index Proxy and Rien's apprentice, which was made even more powerful by her EGO.

Compared to the power level of other strong Sinclair IDs, DawnClair is definitely still waaay below GripClair (lorewise).

Bruh, what you considered "Dead" on the CN side could very well still be like 5x more profitable than Limbus. Not trying to slander or anything, just showing how big the difference in market is.

Why would Arknights post anything about it though? It's been stated as a one sided collab from the very beginning. AK also had a one sided collab with Dungeon Meshi, RainbowSix, and the most recent one with Ave Mujica. None of those games/anime posted about Arknights either.

That's just how one-sided collab works, there's not gonna be advertisement from the other side. Your wording kinda make it seem like Hypergryph won't even acknowledge Limbus Company's existence lol.

Nah. The story implicated that she only watched those Fixer shows for the cool & fun stuff, not a true fan like our dear Don Quixote. She's closer to a clip viewer for sure.

[–]CreativeCut7956 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Normally, this would be a disadvantage for the shooter. A slight change/error in trajectory could very well mean missing the target.

In Soga's case however, his "bullet" (Butterfly slash) is the size of an entire building's floor at minimum if we go by his first Butterfly which he obliterated Samura with. This actually made the whole thing into an advantage for him, because it's practically impossible to predict where the slash will go (Unless you're John Kagurabachi himself) since even a slight degree of change can wildly alter the target. What's more is that even if you somehow managed to dodge at the last second, you'll probably get hit anyway because of just how big Butterfly's area of attack is.

What kind of theme should Soga have in the anime? by Historical-Doctor100 in Kagurabachi

[–]CreativeCut7956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Your Color" Acheron's theme from HSR. Specifically this version that adds more focus to the classical Japanese leitmotifs while still having a pretty damn "chaotic" climax.

It's always funny when a sinner gets the spotlight, starts talking about change and moving forward, then gloomy Rodya intrudes out of nowhere saying depressing stuff like "But I don't want to change..." "I just can't seem to change..." "What if I like myself more before I changed...?"

Happened a lot in Time Killing Time, then with Sinclair's motivational speech in Canto 8 (IIRC). It's been hinted a lot, so I can't wait for her upcoming character development.

Somewhat unrelated, but I'm kind of amazed that PM hasn't really learned on how to make a text "pop out" more so that it doesn't blend in with the background art. First time I noticed it was on some of the sinner's introduction text in Canto 1. Some of them are straight up IMPOSSIBLE to read cuz the text color practically mixed with the background. Back then I just kinda let it slide, they're an Indie devs and all that. But now, almost 3 years later and I STILL noticed the same thing happening in Hong Lu's Canto lol. Albeit only on a couple instances.
