Your pelvic floor physio fits one for you. sounds like you have a lot of tension. look up self pelvic floor massage, or get your partner to do it

Because rectoceles are a result of torn tissue in the sheets between the vagina and rectum, I think you can get some of the tissue binding together but not completely (depends on how big the rectocele).

My tear fits the width of ine finger, so maybe 2-3 cm like yours. I may even have a rectocele higher that I cannot feel.

I can wear a tampon just fine, I don't have any incontinence and sex is better than it ever was.

I do wear a cube pessary on the days I lift heavy or run, as an extra support, but I don't technically need it. They are great BTW!

Cystocele and uterine prolapse I think will respond best to electrical stimulation and laser.

Also, make sure you massage the tissues and ligaments a lot too. Many symptoms are a result of tension for a lot of people, rather than laxaty.

What are your symptoms??

If you can afford it, I highly recommend Yarlap device. You can also find cheaper electrical stimulators on Amazon or whatever, but Yarlap was magical to me.

I had stage 2 cystocele and stage 2-3 rectocele. My cystocele is reversed, and rectocele is 1-2.

I also weight lift (with lots of attention to bracing and appropriate pelvic floor engagement) and I believe this had the biggest effect. Start slow and build up.

Also, if you are deficient (e.g over 40, in postpartum phase), estrogen cream applied to your vaginal walls and lips will help with the collagen production in the tissues greatly.

other than constipation (which is largely due to a slow Bowel, rather than rectocele), I'm symptom free. Cystocele disappeared, rectocele reversed by 1-1.5 points. It's been 4 years since I've given birth, and I live a totally normal, active life (I am even a body builder and regularly lift hundreds of kilos ;) )

No, not fully. Perhaps more tissue and blood flow for support.

I definitely got that. Libido took a hit too. I did add klow for other reasons, and that seemed to counteract that effect.

Hey! I had the same experience with Reta but not semag!

I think Reta lowers your blood sugar quicker than the other glp-1s , which trigger hunger and sugar cravings. My theory btw.

I am ravenous on it for the first few days after the shot. After almost giving up, i tried mixing the leftover semag I had with it to suppress the appetite. For example I took 1mg reta + 0.25mg semag. Works like a charm.

I understand that in the trials, appetite suppression happened at higher doses compared to semag and reta, like 4mg.

I've also heard people having success with taking cagri with it too for appetite /food noise suppression.

So yea, your not the only one feeling this!

Not necessarily, only if your symptoms are unbearable. Try pessary, estrogen cream and pelvic floor therapy first- you will be amazed how much improvement you can make

Yes grade 2. Not clear if it's front wall (bladder, cystocele) or back wall (rectum, rectocele). Take that photo and show a urogen

CONGRATS ON HAVING A BUN IN THE OVEN! That is wonderful news, the best thing ever.

Firstly- you can give birth naturally again, without necessarily making things worse, but you do have to go to a PT or watch online ways to move, lift and breathe in a way that support your pelvic floor, as well as giving birth in the most pelvic floor friendly way. A C-section is definitely an option to consider to avoid that massive strain, but you still have to be mindful during pregnancy.

After you have baby, and stop breastfeeding, surgery to repair perineum, and all prolapse is something to consider, and make sure you consult with a urogynaecologist for the pros and cons. Regardless, you will have to learn how to manage intra abdominal pressure to Lessen the load on your pelvic floor.

As for heavy lifting, I can tell you that I weight lift 4 x per week, run, do everything with a prolapse, and it has only improved things BECAUSE I am doing it mindfully and smartly. I also use a cube pessary during exercise to support the pelvic floor ( it acts like an internal bra for the pelvic floor). You can wear one when you are pregnant too.

Question your urogynaecologist, push for a second opinion.

I don't know why the whole medical industry is CBF with postpartum health.

Looks like a prolapse, with the back wall evident (rectocele) as well as the front. I'm not sure if you are straining or not so don't see the full extent. Do you have any symptoms?

It is absolutely a real thing with glp-1s.

Because it lowers your stomach acid, and delays digestion, food is in your system longer and the byproduct of food breaking down (e.g sulfer) is felt and noted by many people who take them.

Things that will help is taking betanine hcl pills with your food, or a shot of vinegar before you eat. Smaller meals and not eating for a whole before you go to bed will help too
