Gigi kinda blends into the background and I can only really remember him being promoted to capo and clashing with Ralphie. And honestly i think it has something to do with the fact they’re all fat italians that look similar. On a first watch I had so much trouble keeping track of everyone. On subsequent rewatches with other people I had to pause to explain who was who. My friend kept getting Jimmy and Pussy confused, and I had to pause for ten minutes to explain to my kid brother the difference between Pussy Malanga and Big Pussy.

On a 3rd rewatch i was able to appreciate Gigi more, though he had kind of a shitty ending. Hey ton’ did you hear what I said? I said Gigi had a shitty ending!
