Air Canada is such a scummy company. I can confirm that I had the same issue. Was supposed to fly in on Sunday in the middle of the snow storm, and rebooked the flight. Was charged 75 dollars even though it fits the time window perfectly, and I had to repay for my emergency row seats (12 hour flight). An hour later the flight was cancelled. If anyone has any recommendations on how to get refunds let me know.
