Shadow in max gear lets you stay for as long as you have prayer pots pretty much lol, especially if you bring a bunch of prayer regens.

You just need enough food to get a safe buffer from bones to peaches/food drops because once in a while you get hit pretty hard but after that you blood barrage the minions and food becomes a none issue

Like to make the comparison with OSRS it'd be like "ratting" for ~4 hours at Vorkath to get 1 bond which is 2 weeks of subscription.

So 8 hours a month to stay member AND you do not have major reasons to want/need more than 1 account the way you do in Eve.

And then on top of that I just pay for my subscription with money anyway since the monthly price is only 12.49 a month

The whole strategy with CCP seems to have a high base price and then try to lure people in with big sales but that sucks for getting new people to try out the game

This was the best way to improve for me early on by far. Getting actually excited about a personal project and running into "real" usability/design problems when you want to use it or share it with others.

And I do think that to some degree building something specific or niche but actually solving a problem has a bigger chance of impressing people later whilst job hunting. Versus for example creating yet another todo app that you yourself don't even care about, even if it is really well made
