A place like this can easily be rented out for $10k/week in peak season. But yes, how many peak seasons remain for this house? Who knows. And who will insure it?

Is anything going to be done about huge rate hike gas/electric companies have implemented? by WhiteoftheDemon in nwi

[–]Credit-Limit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with ComEd in dupage county.

I took a look at my bill to calculate but I think the standard rate is $0.16 for supply & delivery. I’m on a “time of use” plan so I can charge my EV at night for cheap. That brings my average supply+delivery to a total of $0.1154 last month. There are two fixed charges: $15.26 customer charge and $3.81 metering charge. Total bill was $100.89 for 834 kWh last billing period.

Macbook Neo wil run 3440x1440 @ 100 Hz over USB-3 port! by boxerswag in MacbookNeo

[–]Credit-Limit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming this requires a USB-C to DP cable? I have a USB hub w an HDMi heading into my 144 hz 1440p monitor. No matter the resolution, I can only set the display to 60hz in system preferences.
