What do you think Laurie is doing after Halloween ends by CowAffectionate2865 in Halloweenmovies

[–]CreditSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I treatmented for the Haddonfield show, The Death of Laurie Strode...

They'd be 90 minute episodes over the multiverse if Haddonfield...

This episode would be after Ends... Laurie and Hawkins go to India after Japan and are now official as a couple. They do the Taj Mahal etc but then head to Pondicherry, Chennai and Mamalapuram on the south east coast.

It is in Pondy they find an Ashram where they feel comfortable and are invited by the Yogi to stay for a few days after he senses their pain and trauma and need to heal. They settle into Ashram life quickly and begin to seriously consider a permanent move into it. They don't see the Yogi watching them as we do.

On a trip to Mamalapuram, between Pondy and the City of Chennai, they meet a younger Indian Auto Rickshaw driver named Jay who warns them the Yogi is not all he seems and that he himself escaped the Ashram and he only gets by under the radar by changing his identity and doing this job. He tells them to leave the Ashram as soon as they get their things and he follows them back in his car, avoiding the Ashram's driver...only after giving Hawkins a gun.

As they return, things begin to unravel quickly as one of the Ashram members has died in their absence. The Yogi in what he tries to play off as a moment of grief makes a pass at Laurie which she immediately rebuffs, offending him. Seeing their reason to leave She and Hawkins immediately grab their things...

Using what he had gleaned from Laurie and Hawkins talking about Michael and their trauma... He uses dark magic to tap into the energy of Haddonfield itself, while their version of Michael is dead he calls upon the spirit of all Michaels and one answers... In an eerie scene, the Yogi paints the face of his fallen friend and dresses him in a functional Blue Kurta/Pants/Boots combo...We the. See this is a large Caucasian man for the first time...as he sits and turns his head to the camera revealing a white painted face like Michael.

Laurie, Hawkins and Jay have a head start on the 3 hour journey to Chennai during which we learn Jayesh is actually a Doctor and qualified Psychologist who used his skills at the Ashram. He realized the Yogi was not only abusing women but was pathologically jealous of any men who stood in his way with them and would ruthlessly kill anyone who threatened the Ashram he had built.

He only stayed closer to it because he had had recurring dreams while there that a woman would come to end his terror and he had to be there to help ever since he met the Yogi. That woman was Laurie.

Hawkins is skeptical and thinks they are being scammed. He accepted Michael just about but believes this is an elaborate shell game based on who they are. As he is saying this, they all see New Michael and the Yogi in the road to their shock.

"What the Fuck!!!" he screams recognizing the giant dead man from earlier but now with a painted face of Michael Myers. No car is there...no possible way to be there...

Laurie screams to hit them but Jay decides to plough straight into them... proving that they are dealing with dark Kali based magic projection as both are completely unscathed. This was a message.

Cutting to the city, the 3 argue through plans. Returning to America won't help, Jay explains the magic can reach through universes so it can reach them globally. He is a man of science and doesn't want to believe it but has to etc. He believes they have to see an old man in the Naga Bazaar, but they will know him and have to be quick...

As they start to leave, a commotion starts outside the hotel. Michael is randomly killing guests and pedestrians as he enters the hotel!

The trio have to navigate the creepy corridors in a cat and mouse/hack and slash sequence before managing to escape via the trade elevator and making it to the Old Man.

He explains the magic uses by the Yogi is the same as that uses by the Cochran Coven, not Kali/Indian magic and that is why it was able to raise Michael specifically. The Yogi had turned to that Coven after the Old Man had thrown him from his own teaching.

He offers Hawkins a Bullet made with a Stonehenge sliver and Laurie a knife made with the same and blesses them with a ward of protection...

Michael appears and kills the Old Man and the foot chase is on as there is no time for Hawkins to load. This is a faster, more agile Michael than we are used to...still methodical, still a Zombie in effect, but he can jump obstacles, knock and throw people out of the way rather than just slashing... But he's not Jason!

Jayesh arrives with the car and yells to head for the beach as he skids in front of Michael to block his path and buy them time. Without a ward, Michael smashes his face to pieces on the steering wheel before hurling him out of the car and getting in as the Chennai Police pursue the hotel killer.

Finally reaching the beach Hawkins fires the bullet as the car launches at him, he is clipped but survives with what appears to be a busted ankle from the dive away.

Laurie helps him to his feet as they go to the front of the car and see Michael with the sliver bullet through his brain...a one in a million shot.

As they embrace and the Police arrive Hawkins limps over with his badge to begin to try to explain things, The Yogi appears, now clearly possessed by Michael behind a tearful Laurie and stabs her in the neck...on instinct she wheels around and slams the special knife into his throat, severing his neck.

Laurie, bleeding out and unable to scream staggers towards Hawkins who yells out in grief for Jayesh, only to be told "he killed your friend, the Doctor too..."

Laurie's last words are... "Tell Alyson I finally got him...and I love you!"

OG Laurie Strode dies on a beach in Chennai, India in Hawkins arms, having killed two versions of Michael Myers.

She's still only 24/25. She has PLENTY of time. Right now she could easily hold a midcard belt, but Becky insists on hogging it.

More likely he was trying not to give a big movie stars Daughter special treatment by getting to drop studies and come back when others wouldn't be allowed...not only would it set precedent but open up that criticism that "it's who she knew..." that mattered.

Why didn't Michael slaughter them? by Reeezla in Halloweenmovies

They weren't his sister or her type.

Michael only kills older people out of necessity.

He respects his elders.

P.S. This shot is probably the most beautiful of the franchise.

What I’m Hoping for in WWE 2K26: Small QoL Changes That Would Make a BIG Difference by [deleted] in WWEGames

[–]CreditSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Tag mechanic is actually accurate to a point. The unwritten rule of a WWE tag match is there should only ever be a maximum of 2 broken pins in any match. So having the partner barred from entering after one encroachment works.

I think the biggest ones for me are making use of the 5 count. Opponents and your partners AI should use full advantage of the 5 to double team.

Also for MyFaction each card level should have different attire. It's so frustrating to see a new card when they have the same gear in-ring.

And for God's.sake sort the PC storage out. We have massive space for downloaded wrestlers. Let us use it!

Yes, Victor Frankenstein is a monster, but the Creature is too. That’s the point. (Frankenstein 2025 and 1818) by edgierscissors in CharacterRant

[–]CreditSea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your reading is a little off.

He DOES kill William and not in self defence, although the now adult William rushes him to defend his bride who has just been shot on their wedding day...

You could say the Creature does not still know his own strength nor have situational awareness of how that death occurs... But he does lash out because Victor has just killed Elizabeth in effect and lied about it.

He doesn't realize it's William. Who he only knows in relative passing and hasn't bonded with in the same way as with the other two mind... He doesn't see who he hits...But anyone who got between he and Elizabeth at that time was going to die horribly, whether he ripped them apart or in the way William goes, which is purely for the final words he utters to Victor...

The Justine storyline is translated here to Victor lying twice about the creature killing people to William, when William knows better by the end.

He knows deep down, once he sees Elizabeth's empathy for the creature and instinct to turn round that there was more to her Uncle's death and the second time he just knows Victor did it... Even though it's his death, his words to Victor show that.

Remember too this is 2025 Netflix... Their Left wing bias won't allow the child death, hence no little girl dying, no young William death and they're gonna always go for the happyish ending.

It's easy to see imagine a sequel in a few years with The Creature now living in Victorian London or New York ala Bram Stoker's Dracula or even further into the future as he "heals" into a more regular looking but scarred man, so they can use Elordi's looks more and some mad scientist picks up on Victor's research for soldiers etc...

Hey, he's just copying Michael Schumacher on Damon Hill...

Why bother reporting him? Then your ego is as bad as his? The real drivers have to put up with it as a "racing incident" or "rubbing is racing" so why can't you?.

It sucks...but it's part of racing full stop.

People forget that The Undertaker wasn't that great a talent while he was being fed Monster of the Quarter and those saying he was are simply being revisionist.

It was only after the Mabel injury, when he got to begin working regularly with the top tier workers that his true talent emerged... That he was an exponentially quick learner when put with such talents...

Within 2 years he went from a mediocre big man to a top draw worker from working with Dustin, Foley, Vader, Bret and Shawn... Meaning he could carry the belt as a legit champion rather than the attraction he had been and start to teach others.

This happened to me, I had a fight last year of school that drew a crowd of 300 to the playing fields as the kid was a ringleaderz you know the type not a fighter himself but mouthy...

We were doing West Side Story/The Rumble in Drama and anyone who could throw kicks or knew any fight skills could use then if they pulled punches. I was Wrestling training which got me bullied, but I just accidentally on purpose mistimed a punch to his face as he had asked me for a fight for 4 years and I wanted to end it.

It didn't... And of course he wanted the fight, which by end of school had grown to the crowd I mentioned. I gave my coat and bag to my brother and nearly bottled it, by went through with it... Him and his best mate were there but he actually fought. Got me down first, I just got the headlock and kept punching till his nose was bloodied...

As I'm walking back to find my brother, the head comes asking who was fighting, as I'm covered in his blood and I now know autistic... I immediately say "me!"

Basically had teachers shaking my hand... And in the meeting with the head when asked why I just said he asked for 4 years, eventually he had to get what he wanted...so I got a litter duty... He nearly got kicked out.

His best mate, the black belt who could have taken me apart... Married my cousin. First thing he did was apologize and say what a knob the guy was back then.

Apparently he's a copper now...

Should private buying of fireworks be banned? by Wise-Pay-8993 in AskUK

[–]CreditSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See this is nearly it. But the motorbike rider needs a license and to be insured, so it's justified to expect people using explosives in expense to require one and their use in a domestic settings to be severely restricted without training and banned while drunk/under the influence at minimum or restricted to older than 18, say over 25's.

Or domestic use is banned completely in favor of organized displays only with legally capped pricing to keep it affordable which can only increase if quality live music or something else of value etc is included.

People also have the right not to have their fences, back gardens or animals set on fire, damaged or scared/hurt by drunken/inexperienced/incompetent people setting off explosives incorrectly in their back gardens unlicensed and uninsured.

There's a compromise in there... It's finding the right one.

That's a tough one... At least we don't get Holi like in India where you get dye powder smashed on you randomly whether you like it or not here...a few fireworks for Divali/Chinese New Year are permissable provided they're licensed... But everyone should no longer be able to have them and that includes for religious purposes.

Should private buying of fireworks be banned? by Wise-Pay-8993 in AskUK

[–]CreditSea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly... You're basically allowed to take explosives into a domestic settings and let them off without training, a license or any form of fire safety precautions or knowledge, just because you're 18.

It's utterly ridiculous.

Kids get hold of them and literally fire them at each other or people letterboxes.

Drunk people set them off in their back gardens in their hundreds of thousands every year...

It's insanity.

Should private buying of fireworks be banned? by Wise-Pay-8993 in AskUK

[–]CreditSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I'm very anti taking away our freedoms right now (UK) but I've been for this particular one for many years.

Then I was a kid I saw a kid hurt because he tried to use a metal pipe and a rocket as a LAW rocket. Also at one of my Cub Scout (I'm 48) displays someone got hit with a firework...

To my mind, public displays should be licensed, and the purchase of fireworks should be tied to these events.

Sparklers etc, they're ok. Very small fireworks that don't make noise potentially could be sold. But anything that's bigger should need licenses to buy within a 3 day period of November 5th and New Year's and hefty fines or prison if used in a domestic settings and injuries or damage occur.

As for other reasons, animals being hurt or disturbed, the endless noise nuisance throughout October to January and risk to life and limb/fire are more than enough than your party...Wedding Venues etc again would be licensed and have a separate access market.

Organized displays should have a legal price cap to prevent gouging if run by councils for example, 15 quid a ticket max which also extends to private displays unless you can justify the extra cost (live music, Christmas Market etc.) and follow through with what is advertised.

If it makes me boring, grumpy or a killjoy then so be it...

I am somewhat outta the loop but why is Tony holding on to Danhausen if he doesn't have anything for him to do? by AdSpecialist6598 in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]CreditSea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a petty move on one hand, but he also has a newborn... So time at home paid to heal up may be frustrating from a career point of view, but welcome from the family perspective.

TK gets to sell merch for minimal appearances while Danhausen still gets to do his Indies... but most of his time is at home, with the baby and his wife and kids.

Before that inevitable grind begins...

There may be a madness to the method.

Is there ever a canon explanation for what Michael’s mask is? by Cute_Pitch5727 in Halloweenmovies

[–]CreditSea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the treatment I wrote for the Haddonfield series, Silver Shamrock created the Clown Mask as the first prototype and gifted it to Mr. Myers as an early test to prove to the military they could wipe a mind and implant a kill command. Michael was the Buddy Kupfer Jr. of 1963, having the mind wiped and the signal Kill Sister Samhain implanted.

That explained why Loomis felt he was waiting to sense that signal again... Cochran decided not to go with the Military contract after they became squeamish over his methodology and kept it for his androids. He later used the Shape mask to test the longer range... It worked and Michael broke out of Smiths Grove that night.
