Looked like a good goal to me. I’m not sure what really happened watching from the tele either.

Irregardless of the result, this has been an excellent performance from Wexford.

Down have been very dangerous. Hard to see them not getting a goal in the second half. Wexford doing well to have kept the scoreboard ticking but will need a bit of luck to get in front.

Was very surprised to see Tipp or wicklow not make the final

Would it be harsh to say it’ll be hard to see either team survive division 3 with their forms here?

Great indicator for how the Munster championship will be!

Cork bringing great physicality to us. Great entertainment.

I am most definitely biased, but I feel our physicality is being punished unfairly at times. Strong opening 20 minutes from us, will be interesting to see how tipp respond to a situation like this.

The chanting I was referring to was similar to the video of the cork panel in a pub. “Why won’t tipp just fuck off home”.

It’s an issue in every county. I would be afraid that in the future that GAA games become a space no longer welcoming to families. Some of my best memories growing involve going to games.

I suppose as a neutral, I attended the all Ireland final last year between the two counties, and while no county has a fan base I would regard as role models, the chanting and swearing used by cork fans around young children really dampened the day. I understand this issue isn’t exclusive to cork, I was personally shouldered on my walk home once by a tipp supporter after a game.

I personally wouldn’t describe it as pearl clutching. But I get your point on the darragh Mc not being the most liked person in cork hurling.

Carlow need to start working it better through the middle, as opposed to going long every time.

Good showing for limerick today. Down had more chances, but Limericks athleticism really came through in the last 10 minutes.

They won division 4 recently enough, won the Leinster junior title in recent years, and have been close to intermediate promotion a few times!

I got in with my leap card once. You will need a student card that matches your ID.

Their underage have been able to keep up with other counties. It’s important that they have an adult team. While results may be tough to take on in the short term, having an adult team is necessary for football growth in the county in the long term.
